  • Oversee the work of junior electrical engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers, and site teams to ensure project success.
  • Conduct site visits for inspections, surveys, and problem resolution.
  • Develop and implement testing and commissioning procedures.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for electrical design tasks.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation for clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of new technologies and advancements in electrical engineering and power systems.
  • Champion safety in design and ensure all installations meet rigorous safety protocols.
Qualifications:
  • BEng or MEng in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in electrical design, with a strong focus on power systems.
  • Proven experience in leading engineering teams and projects.
  • Expert knowledge of power distribution, motor control, and industrial automation.
  • Proficiency with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, ETAP).
  • Deep understanding of relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Experience in renewable energy systems or grid integration is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
