BDA is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist with a strong background in both domestic and international payroll processing . The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of hands-on payroll experience , a deep understanding of ADP systems (with prior ADP employment preferred), and strong Excel skills to support detailed reporting and reconciliations.
Location: London, UK
- Employees living within 50 miles of a BDA office are required to follow a hybrid work schedule, spending 3–4 days in the office and 1–2 days working from home. Those located more than 50 miles away may work remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle payroll processing for U.S. and international employees
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Handle garnishments, deductions, and benefit withholdings accurately
- Understanding Time and Attendance, International and Domestic Benefit accruals
- Utilize ADP systems for payroll input, reporting, and audits (e.g., Workforce Now, Celergo , Global View, Smart compliance)
- Develop and maintain payroll reports using Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate payroll delivery
- Support internal and external audits, YE Audits and or amendments with payroll data and documentation
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years of payroll experience, including multi-state and international processing
- ADP Celergo experience required
- Strong ADP systems knowledge (former ADP employees highly preferred)
- Fluent in both English and French required
- Fluent in German a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas)
- Solid understanding of payroll tax regulations (Federal, State, Local) Pension, filings, and garnishment processing
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, excellent reconciliation skillset
- Ability to manage confidential data with discretion
- Payroll certification is a plus or years of service
We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position is €60,000 - €70,000. If you are hired at BDA, your compensation will be determined based on factors that may include geographic location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any offer. In the spirit of pay transparency, the range listed is the full base salary range for the role and hiring at the top of the range would not be typical, in order to allow for future salary growth.

What you’ll be doing:
Service, maintain, and repair pumps, generators, and diesel-powered equipment in both depot and field-based environments.

Carry out major overhauls and refurbishments of end-of-life equipment.
Diagnose faults and perform repairs to minimise equipment downtime.
