You will be engaged in various missions and assignments that will regularly test your ability to use Cloud technology and automation to tackle large-scale challenges. You will focus on projects in private Cloud Monitoring, Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) and more whilst consistently leveraging cloud capabilities in a scalable, resilient and secure manner.

• Collaborate with internal business units to navigate legacy and custom-built environments, ensuring successful agent deployment despite technical inconsistencies.
• Solve complex networking challenges , including DNS entries, static routes, and security configurations to ensure agent-to-server communication.
• UK security clearance is required.

• Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, Windows, and Linux operating systems (specifically Red Hat and Bottle Rocket).
• A proven track record of being an effective, hands-on practitioner and problem-solver.
• The ability to contribute to high-level architectural planning for a comprehensive IT estate view, including platforms like IBM Skytap and high-volume containerised environments.

Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – Stoke on Trent (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Infrastructure Cloud Engineer with 2-3 years’ experience with Cloud platforms, our client is flexible around AWS, Azure, or GCP.  You will have Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates. This would suit an experienced engineer with Linux/Unix or Windows server administration in a cloud or virtualised environment with basic networking (VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls, VPNs) in a cloud context.
