The Role
As a Product Analyst , you will be the engine behind our growth analytics. This role sits squarely at the intersection of product, marketing, and monetization. You will help us understand acquisition funnels, optimize paywalls and pricing strategies, and drive experiments that improve user growth, engagement, and profitability.
You’ll partner closely with product managers, growth marketers, and engineers to turn data into action, building a strong foundation for scaling our apps globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Experimentation at Scale : Design and interpret A/B and multivariate tests across acquisition channels, onboarding flows, and monetization features.
- Retention & Engagement : Discover causal relationships between user behavior and long term retention, to understand drivers of stickiness, repeat use, and churn reduction.
- Product Metric Trees: Decomposing our North Star revenue metrics into product improvement metrics, to guide product development and measure impact
- Monetization Insights : Evaluate paywall performance, pricing experiments, and offer strategies to maximize LTV and ROI on ad spend.
- Growth Analytics : Map and analyze full user funnels — from acquisition to conversion, subscription, retention, and churn — identifying key drop-offs and opportunities.
- Marketing Effectiveness : Partner with UA and performance marketing teams to measure campaign ROI, optimize creatives, and assess channel profitability.
- Metrics & Dashboards : Define, track, and evolve growth and monetization KPIs (CAC, ROAS, LTV, retention curves, trial conversion rates); build dashboards in Lightdash to democratize access.
- Deep Dives : Lead investigations into anomalies in spend, subscription patterns, or user cohorts — surfacing root causes and actionable fixes.
- Cross-Functional Partner : Translate analysis into product and growth strategies; influence roadmaps with data-driven recommendations.
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of professional experience in product/growth analytics.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale data.
- Familiarity with marketing and UA metrics (CAC, ROAS, LTV, ARPU) and experience linking marketing data with product behavior.
- Proven track record designing and analyzing growth and monetization experiments .
- Experience with product analytics platforms
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and hypothesis-driven mindset.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills — able to distill complex findings into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment with shifting priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with mobile consumer apps and/or subscription business models .
- Basic proficiency in Python for statistical or predictive modeling.
- Familiarity with mobile UA platforms (Meta, Google Ads, AppLovin, Apple Search Ads, TikTok).
- Background in consumer behavior analytics and retention modeling.
- Knowledge of advanced methods for monetization analytics (churn models, survival analysis, predictive LTV).

The Role
You’ll sit within a highly collaborative Data team and act as a key partner to Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams, using data to shape strategy, improve personalisation, and create a best-in-class experience for millions of users. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, commercially focused, and passionate about understanding user behaviour to drive measurable outcomes
You’ll be responsible for:
- Analysing user behaviour, spotting trends, and telling compelling data stories to influence product strategy
- Designing, running, and evaluating experiments to optimise product performance and improve conversion
- Defining and aligning key metrics across teams, ensuring consistent measurement and insight delivery
- Building and maintaining dashboards and self-serve tools for quick access to core insights
- Conducting deep-dive analysis to inform strategic decisions and drive measurable product improvements
Your Skills & Experience
I’m looking for someone who is excited to work in a product-focused, consumer-facing environment, and who brings:
- Strong SQL
- Python/R experience preferrable
- Experience with dbt and modern data stacks a bonus
- A proven ability to turn data into actionable insights and communicate them clearly to stakeholders
- Experience in a B2C or consumer tech environment, ideally with a focus on product analytics or experimentation
