- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- 2–5+ years of experience in a data science or analytics role
- Experience handling large datasets and building end-to-end ML models
- Background in working with cross-functional teams in a business setting
- Experience in a specific industry (e.g., finance, healthcare, e-commerce) is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Master’s or Ph.D. preferred for more advanced or research-intensive roles

You will be working on important government projects as part of the role, so will gain a security clearance (must be eligible ).
If you are to be considered for the role, you must have experience of Data Science in a professional environment where you have been a go-to figure for junior staff . You must also be a confident speaker, having worked in a client facing, advisor or consultancy environment. - Strong foundation in statistical methods
- Deep expertise with a modern data science programming language (Python/R), with the ability to write clean and efficient code.
- Experience with cloud deployments (ideally Azure) to build, scale and maintain data science solutions and pipelines.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis across relational databases.
- Experience with a Business intelligence tool (such as Cognos/Power BI)
Desirable
- Commercial experience adapting, operationalising and monitoring generative AI/LLM models
- Familiarity with education or healthcare analytics and data
