Web Designer (Hybrid) – Stockton-on-Tees
Are you a creative Web Designer looking to grow your career in a dynamic digital agency? Our client are a Stockton-on-Tees based agency working with local and global clients – is on the lookout for a talented Web Designer to join their creative, high-energy team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a few years of experience who is ambitious, switched on , and ready to take the next step. The role is hybrid, with in-office days on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and remote work on Wednesday and Friday. Salary: £28,000–£2,000 (depending on experience).
What You’ll Do
- Design & Build Websites: Create engaging, user-friendly websites for a range of clients, from local businesses to global brands. You’ll take projects from concept to launch, ensuring each site looks great and works smoothly. li>Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and bring their vision to life. You’ll present design ideas, gather feedback, and make sure clients gain value at every step. < i>Project Involvement: Be involved in project delivery and management. This means coordinating with our internal team (developers, content creators, etc.), keeping projects on track, and meeting deadlines.
- Learn New Tools: Develop your skills by learning the Wix platform (no prior Wix experience required!). Our client are a Wix specialist agency, and you’ll get full training to become confident in designing and building websites on Wix. < i>Innovate & Improve: Contribute your own ideas to projects and the team. We love innovation and creativity, so you’ll have the chance to suggest new approaches and continuously improve our web design process.
What We’re Looking For
- < i>Design Skills: A good eye for clean, modern design and strong understanding of what makes a great user experience. You’re comfortable creating layouts and visuals that impress. < i>Technical Aptitude: Confidence in building websites using website builders. If you’ve worked with WordPress or other CMS platforms, that’s a plus. (No Wix experience needed – just be keen to learn it!)
- C ient-Facing Ability: Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
