The Role
As a Design Architect, you will be involved from the very earliest stages of projects, exploring feasibility, developing concepts, and creating design narratives that bring large-scale masterplans to life. You will take a lead role in producing and presenting compelling design solutions for international clients, ensuring proposals are innovative, functional and sustainable.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out feasibility studies, capacity analysis and concept design for major international projects
- Develop design proposals that respond to complex briefs and cultural contexts
- Support projects through early feasibility, concept and planning stages
- Communicate and present design thinking to international clients and planning authorities
- Work closely with senior colleagues to lead projects from start to finish
- Ensure design outputs are of the highest standard, meeting codes, guidelines and client aspirations
- Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams and consultants across global markets
- ARB-registered Architect (or equivalent international qualification)
- Outstanding design ability, creativity and visual communication skills
- Experience on large-scale masterplanning or international projects highly desirable
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to convey design thinking with clarity
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; Revit and SketchUp knowledge an advantage
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Our client is a well-established architectural consultancy that has been at the forefront of delivering high-quality, tailored architectural solutions for over four decades. Based in Chelsea Harbour, they've developed a strong reputation for their work on luxurious properties and heritage projects. Their portfolio includes some of the most bespoke and high-end residential and commercial developments in prime locations across London, particularly in areas like Kensington & Chelsea, as well as internationally.
Role & Responsibilities
- To initiate design on projects from stages 0 to 3, including the formulation of the brief and development of the concept designs
- Collaborating closely with the studio delivery team to finalise proposals through to stage 3 and into the subsequent project phases
- A key part of this role includes producing concept sketches and ideas using both hand drawing techniques and computer-based tools
- To liaise with Directors and the technical delivery teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- To supervise the production of planning drawings and coordinate with the design team
- Prepare design and access statements, arrange and attend pre-submission meetings with planning and design officers
- Prepare and submit planning and listed building consent applications
- Coordinate the discharge of consent conditions.
Required Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 5 years' experience post Part-III
- A minimum of 5 years UK experience working in professional practice
