Responsibilities
- Support Service users with longer sits - activities in their homes and out in the community
- Supporting Service users with basic community needs - shopping, finances and ordering.
- Support individuals in maintaining their independence while ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Implement care plans tailored to each client's requirements.
- Document daily activities and report any changes in client conditions to office staff.
- Participate in training sessions and shadow shifts to enhance your caregiving skills.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with clients and team members.
- Candidates are required to work days, nights and weekends
- Experience or knowledge of care plans and working within a supported living environment is preferred.
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes are beneficial but not essential.
- A valid driving license, access to your own car and business insurance is essential.

Role and Responsibilities:
As a Community Care Assistant, you will be providing support to an active and social client based in Kirk Langley. Duties will include: Personal care assistance; Medication administration; Housekeeping and meal preparation; Shopping and running errands; Providing companionship; Motivating the client to engage in her hobbies (gardening, art club, etc.); Assisting with community outings, such as sailing trips or family visits; Driving the client to appointments or supporting in social events.
Working Hours:
Variable days 08:00- 16:00
Requirements of a Community Care Assistant:
Availability: Must be available for the fixed shift pattern as outlined above.
Driving Licence: Must hold a full UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
Attitude: A genuine passion for helping others, with a positive and reliable approach to teamwork
Willingness to Learn: Full training is provided, including a free enhanced DBS check, induction, and ongoing support
Preferred (but not essential) Experience:
- Previous experience in domiciliary, assisted living, or nursing home care
- Skills in supporting individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, or end-of-life care
- First aid certification
- Experience with meal prep or medication handling

- Guaranteed contract hours – We don't believe in offering 'zero hour' contracts as standard – all of our team members have a guaranteed number of hours each week, which can range anywhere from 8-40 hours depending on whether you want to work part- or full-time. All our shifts are full and have no rota gaps that you see in other care companies.
- Going the extra mile – If you need to travel between clients mileage is paid at 40p per mile when using your own vehicle.
