The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Education Market Intelligence Analyst to join our growing research team and lead the development of high-quality salary benchmarking reports and market intelligence across our core regions: the Middle East, Asia (including Singapore), and Southeast Asia.
This role offers the unique opportunity to become a recognised expert in international education compensation trends whilst working with prestigious schools and education groups across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Analysis
- Conduct comprehensive salary research across international schools in the Middle East, Asia (including) Singapore, and Southeast Asia
- Analyse compensation trends for academic staff, including teaching positions, middle leadership, and senior leadership roles
- Gather market intelligence through surveys, interviews, and data collection from school partners
- Monitor regulatory changes affecting international education compensation and benefits
- Track market movements, including planned new school openings, expansions, and competitor activities
- Feasibility reports- analysis of regional data from various sources and compose intelligent feasibility reports for the sector
Report Writing & Content Creation
- The author detailed salary and compensation benchmarking reports for specific markets, school types, and position categories
- Create executive summaries highlighting key findings and strategic recommendations
- Develop market trend analyses, identifying emerging patterns and future projections
- Produce bespoke reports for individual school clients based on their specific requirements
- Write thought leadership content, including market insights, blog posts, and white papers
- Deadlines- collaborate with the company MD, deliver to tight deadlines
Client Engagement & Consultation
- Provide strategic consultation on compensation positioning and talent acquisition strategies
- Support business development by contributing market expertise to client proposals
Data Management & Quality Assurance
- Maintain comprehensive databases of compensation and benefits information
- Ensure data accuracy and validate sources across multiple markets
- Develop standardised methodologies for data collection and analysis
- Create benchmarking frameworks that account for regional variations and school types
Required Qualifications
Essential Experience
- Experience in the education sector research, consulting, or market analysis
- Knowledge of international school markets in the Middle East, Asia (including Singapore), and Southeast Asia
- Proven track record in salary benchmarking, compensation analysis, or HR research
- Strong background in international education, ideally with teaching or school leadership experience
Technical Skills
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation
- Excellent writing ability with experience producing professional research reports
- Strong presentation skills for client-facing delivery of findings
- Proficiency in research tools including survey platforms, data analysis software, and CRM systems
- Database management and data visualisation capabilities, including dashboard overviews.
Regional Expertise
- Cultural fluency across Asian and Middle Eastern education markets
- Understanding of regulatory environments affecting international schools in target regions
- Knowledge of curriculum frameworks (IB, British, American, Australian) and their impact on staffing
- Awareness of visa requirements and employment regulations for expatriate teachers
- Network of contacts within international education community preferred

Your opportunity
+ Act as the primary compensation partner for designated departments, providing strategic insight and challenge to senior management up to ExCo level
+ Own the compensation forecasting process for designated departments, including reconciliation of forecast versions and detailed variance analysis versus actuals
+ Support hiring decisions and organizational changes by modelling compensation impacts and advising on market benchmarks
+ Facilitate the annual compensation round including; gain approval for proposed base pay increases, manage department profit pools, facilitate department and individual allocations process, administer payments to employees.
+ Coordinate and manage data for participation in market compensation surveys and analyze results.
+ Conduct job evaluation studies to formally match roles to the market.
+ Prepare special studies and recommendations on subjects such as base pay, variable pay, equity, performance management and executive pay programs.
+ Develop management and employee communication materials to support the company's global compensation programs, to include the creating and delivery of Compensation and Total Reward Statements.
+ Review, draft and provide technical support and guidance on compensation for employment offer letters and contracts.
+ Compile information and draft language for the Company's public disclosures, or in response to regulatory inquiries, and for client RFPs.
+ Create board materials as requested.
