Basic Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree is required. Graduate degree preferred.
- Experience in finance, compensation, or consulting with an in-depth knowledge of core compensation terminology and best practices.
- Deep compensation knowledge required, including understanding of EU compensation practices and regulations.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including the ability to listen, synthesize ideas, and explain complex issues clearly and succinctly to various audiences.
- The ability to work independently, take on responsibility, and be nimble in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees within the organization.
- Strong Excel and analytics skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional European language proficiency highly preferred.
- Experience with EU employment law and compensation practices.
- Strong problem solving, communication, and presentation skills. The ideal candidate will be well organized and confident to work independently but will be a strong team player.
- Ability to create dynamic tools and models to interpret and analyze data.
- Ability to connect disparate data sources and operationalize tasks. Comfortable with large data sets.
- Experience enhancing and/or implementing compensation systems and reporting tools.
- Proficiency in Excel Macros; familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Power Pivot and Tableau experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in writing clear narratives that effectively translate concepts, decisions, and data insights while adapting communication style appropriately for different stakeholders.

A global, luxury retailer is looking to recruit a reward specialist. This luxury retailer is experiencing significant growth having delivered consecutive like for like increases for many years. They are opening an average of 40 stores per year and have a presence across all major markets globally. Their global head office is based in London where the role is situated.
The role will see you taking responsibility to manage the year end cycle for 2025/2026. The key remit for the role will be to take ownership for the 2026 salary review, bonus allocations and salary alterations. You will also look after bonus scorecards; ensuring data is correct; offline work with banks and 3rd parties; working with the office teams to push through our talent process and reward, with payouts in April 2026;. You’ll also support with gender pay reporting.
The ideal candidate will have between two to three years’ experience as a reward specialist or analyst. The key fundamental is that you will have managed two year-end cycles and all the responsibilities that come from this. They are looking for a strong project planner with the ability to approach the role with a project manager mindset/skillset. You’ll be someone who is a positive and effective communicator, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and actively partnering across different teams.
In return, the salary on offer is a competitive one up to £55,000 per year, depending on experience. The role is based in the office three days a week.The head office location has recently moved to a fabulous new location where the offices are clean, spacious and a fantastic view of London. You’ll also enjoy summertime working in July and August.
