Role: Web and CRM Analyst
Reports into: Director of Digital Trade
Contract Type: Full Time, working 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week
Location: Hybrid, working 3 days a week in our offices based in Old Street, London

About the Role:
We are seeking a commercially focused Web & CRM Analyst to drive incremental revenue growth through eCommerce conversion rate optimisation and customer lifetime value enhancement.
You’ll blend analytical expertise, technical skill, and commercial acumen to uncover insights that fuel smarter decision-making, optimise customer journeys, and elevate customer satisfaction and sentiment. This role sits at the intersection of data, technology, and customer experience, ideal for someone who loves digging into metrics, testing hypotheses, and translating insights into meaningful business outcomes.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Analysing key eCommerce metrics (conversion funnels, traffic sources, product performance) using GA4, Content Square, and other analytics tools to identify trends, patterns, and optimisation opportunities
- Producing clear, actionable insights that drive improvements in conversion rate, AOV, and overall site performance
- Developing and maintaining CRO and performance dashboards, ensuring timely and accurate reporting for key stakeholders
- Designing, supporting, and analysing A/B and multivariate testing (e.g., landing pages, CTAs, product pages), ensuring statistical validity and driving implementation of winning variations
- Conducting deep dives into target audience and customer behaviour, leveraging CRM and analytics data to identify drop-off points, churn risk, and personalisation opportunities
- Collaborating cross-functionally with CRM, UX/UI, and Digital Trading teams to turn insights into measurable improvements in engagement and retention
- Monitoring overall digital performance, flagging trends or anomalies, and contributing to weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on web and CRM performance
- Building integrated performance reports across web and CRM campaigns to track customer behaviour, retention, and CLV
- Ensuring data integrity, conducting regular data audits, and maintaining documentation of data flows and tagging implementations
- Partnering with the Data & Insight team to enhance data pipelines, API integrations, and automation processes across systems
- Supporting compliance with data privacy and GDPR standards, ensuring ethical and compliant data usage across all channels
You’ll need to have:
- Proven experience in Web Analytics, eCommerce Analytics, or CRM Analytics roles
- Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, with experience in building and managing reports and dashboards
- Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience with SQL or other database querying languages
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing tools and CRO methodologies, including test design, execution, and analysis
- Solid understanding of customer journey analysis, conversion optimisation, and personalisation strategies
- Strong knowledge of data structures, data workflows, and API functionality
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to simplify complex data for non-technical audiences
- Highly analytical, commercially aware, and results-oriented mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement
- Proven experience with Shopify
Nice to have’s:
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Ometria, Klaviyo, Emarsys)
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau
- Knowledge of SEO and its impact on conversion performance

About the Job
Creation Technology is looking for a Senior CRM Business Analyst to join our Consultancy Team, focused on delivering large scale projects to leading customers in the Higher Education vertical, using Salesforce Education Cloud. This is a permanent role based out of our head office in Chiswick, West London. The ideal candidate should be able to travel from time to time to client sites across UK and Europe.
As a Senior CRM Business Analyst within the team, the individual must be able to work with both business and technology stakeholders, applying an organised and proactive approach. Tasks range from business requirement gathering and documentation, writing user stories, testing, handover to IT support teams, and occasionally, ad-hoc query handling and support tasks.
Responsibilities
- Work with Product Owners and the business to develop and detail the product backlog in the form of epics and stories describing problems and expected outcomes, running refinement sessions with the development team.
- Collaborate with Creation Project Managers & other Business Analysts across the group
- Assist the Development Team, by providing support to the Developers and Testers on the team.
- Act as a communication channel between product owners, business owners and the development team
- Contribute to the planning and execution of system and acceptance testing.
- Undertake documentation to support the team’s sprint activities.
- Build and maintain a good working relationship with the business representatives, working across teams and multiple sites
- Undertake show & tell sessions with clients, presentations etc both virtually and in person where required. Prepare professional decks & documentation to be used in relation to both client presentations and also client user training.
- Mentor UK Junior Business Analyst
- Provide assistance to developers and testers of the team. Pro-actively removing blockers to maximise team productivity.
Experience Required
- Experience with Salesforce is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to apply an analytical approach to requirements discovery, documentation and collaborative solution delivery.
- Capture user stories and artifacts in JIRA or similar tools
- Skilled in collecting and interpreting data, analysing results to identify patterns and trends in data.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management experience with the ability to effectively communicate at a level and depth appropriate to the audience.
- Demonstrable experience of gathering requests and technical specifications
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams using Scrum, including participation in different Scrum ceremonies.
- A sense of personal responsibility and the drive to own problems, can work self-directed and independently to accomplish results.
- Creates an environment where individuals are encouraged and supported to achieve their goals.
