- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- A proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn and improve.
- Commitment to completing the full apprenticeship program.

Full-Time Position Teaching KS3 & KS4
A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in South East London is seeking a passionate and experienced Subject Leader for Food Preparation & Nutrition to join their team on a maternity cover basis . This is a full-time role, teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, following the AQA specification .
Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of Food Preparation & Nutrition across KS3 and KS4
Plan and teach engaging, practical lessons aligned with the AQA curriculum
Manage departmental resources and ensure a safe, well-equipped learning environment
Monitor student progress and contribute to assessment and reporting
Support the wider school community and collaborate with colleagues across departments
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven experience teaching Food Preparation & Nutrition at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the AQA exam board
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Ability to lead a subject area and inspire students through creative teaching
