The role…
This role sits within GlobalData’s Marketing Solutions (GMS) offering and as an Editor you will be working within an established creative team that devise and deliver award-winning content for a portfolio of commercial clients across our industry-leading B2B websites. Our network covers a range of sectors, including life sciences, investment, energy, and manufacturing.
The Editor will oversee content production and strategic direction for a raft of GMS clients: from the content ideation stage to publication.
Working closely with colleagues across design, editorial, data, intelligence, and SEO, the Editor will be responsible for finding, pitching and creating the stories that matter to GMS clients across multiple formats
Key responsibilities:
-Client liaison. Attending meetings to discuss and decide content ideas
- Commissioning content items including, but not limited to, short-form copy, thought-leadership features, podcasts, webinars, and email)
- Writing copy and interviewing clients and their customers, plus GlobalData analysts and industry experts
- Copy editing and managing amends
- Identifying new opportunities with the client
- Supporting other relevant agency client initiatives
- Working with other departments to ensure we are continually learning and improving our offering
Role requirements:
- Strong journalism, copywriting background with previous experience in a similar role
- Experience in working with clients on content strategy
- Excellent writing and proofing skills, and the ability to spot good writing and a great story
- Strong track record of collaboration and evidence of having worked successfully as part of a team
- Previous track record of delivering content to set deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, preferred
- Good commercial awareness of the markets we operate in

NBC News Digital is hiring an ambitious editor with exceptional news judgment to oversee its weekend coverage and late weekday international coverage. This role is based in London.
The position carries major responsibilities, namely being the sole news editor on for NBCNews.com during overnight U.S. hours on Saturdays and Sundays (7 a.m. to 3 p.m. BST). During the week, they'll work a late shift (noon to 8 p.m. BST) editing and writing top world stories of the day.
The person in this role must have the ability to commission stories that appeal to an American audience, and deal with major breaking news swiftly and accurately. They should be an exceptional words editor.
In one given day, this editor may work with a staff reporter on sharpening an original reporting pitch. On another they may be the editor running live coverage of the war in Ukraine for the entire shift. On another, they may need to handle a piece of breaking news - either out of the U.S. or internationally - and decide if they should assign out the first several paragraphs or write it themselves.
This person should be comfortable driving and writing news with digital colleagues as well as correspondents in the field, producers, bookers and other broadcast stakeholders. The successful candidate will be able to deliver clear guidance and collaborate effectively with colleagues in London, New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and elsewhere, and juggle multiple tasks to help create urgent, revelatory and interesting journalism.
Key Responsibilities
Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Edit NBCNews.com from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. GMT on weekends and three late shifts on weekdays.

About the Role
As an In-House Senior Editor for eBioMedicine, you will oversee the peer-review and publication of original content. You will identify experts to act as peer reviewers to ensure we publish high-quality content. Your attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks will be critical in maintaining our standards. You will build global relationships with people and institutes in the translational research community to identify new material, authors, subject experts, and content opportunities.
Responsibilities
+ Arranging peer-review and commissioning content to ensure the successful and timely publication of high-quality translational research
+ Staying up to date with the latest literature and research developments
+ Engaging in conferences and academic meetings, along with site visits to develop and maintain links with the international research community
+ Writing editorials, commissioning reviews and commentaries and publishing correspondence to build the journal's profile among the communities we serve
+ Subediting material from all sections of our journal to improve clarity of expression and to conform to journal style
Requirements
+ Higher degree in a relevant discipline with postdoctoral research experience or previous editorial experience
+ Ability to communicate fairly and constructively with members of the translational research community
+ Demonstrate broad knowledge of biological and medical sciences
+ Have an exceptional command of the English language and the ability to write in an engaging manner
+ Be able to travel internationally for meetings and conferences
+ Able to work in the UK without restrictions

The Forms and Precedents Operations team sits within Global Forms and Precedents, reporting to the Global Head of Forms and Precedents Editorial Operations, supporting the creation, updating, technical implementation and production/publishing of key documents utilised by lawyers on a day to day basis. About the Role:
Join our editorial team to help shape one of the UK's leading legal reference resources. You'll manage and enhance content for Atkin's Court Forms, ensuring quality and accessibility for legal professionals.
Responsibilities:
+ Manage the editorial lifecycle of legal volumes, from planning to publication
+ Edit and format legal documents using Word and XML, ensuring clarity and consistency
+ Collaborate across teams (legal, editorial, production, technical) to maintain workflows
+ Support new content initiatives and continuous improvements
+ Use editorial systems to publish content online and for print
+ Uphold editorial standards and accessibility best practices
