You will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical specifications, creating, and maintaining enterprise architecture models and standards, and ensuring alignment and integration of IT systems across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business needs and objectives and provide strategic guidance on IT solutions that support them.
• Excellent Business Architecture experience.
• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture models, frameworks, principles, and standards.
• Ensure compliance of IT solutions with enterprise architecture standards and best practices
• Collaborate with IT project managers, solution architects, DevOps Engineers, and developers to ensure alignment and integration of IT systems.

Experience

• Extensive experience in IT architecture, design, and development

• Ideally experience with SAP, Data, AI and Cloud systems
• Experience with transformation projects
• Expert knowledge of IT systems, technologies, and methodologies, such as cloud computing, service-oriented architecture, microservices, DevOps, agile, etc.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Certification in enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF would be beneficial.

What you'll do
As an Enterprise Architect at Sainsbury's, you will play a critical role in tackling complex technology problems within the retail industry. To deliver our high priority initiatives we need solutions that cross many parts of our technology estate, from our customer-facing sales systems, through our supply-chain and logistics systems and into our commercial and finance systems. As a C5 Enterprise Architect for Sainsbury's Tech, you are a highly experienced and influential professional with a proven track record creating high level solutions in a large and complex enterprise estate. You will have experience in using and developing architecture models and tools across business, data, application and technology architecture.
