Are you someone who takes pride in doing a job well? Do you enjoy working in a hands-on role, staying active, and being part of a close-knit team? If you’re reliable, willing to learn, and care about quality, you could be just who we’re looking for.
At Vitacress, we believe in supporting people to grow—whether that’s herbs or careers. You don’t need previous experience in a factory or warehouse (though it’s a bonus if you do). What matters most is your attitude. We’ll provide all the training you need to thrive in your role.
We're currently looking for a Factory Operative to join our Operations team. You’ll be part of a team that gets our fresh herbs from farm to fork—working alongside our Line Leaders and Machine Operators to grade, weigh, and pack products to the highest standards.
It’s an active job, with time on your feet in a busy production area, but you’ll be supported by a welcoming team in a workplace that smells as good as it feels to be part of.
What your day might include:
- Packing herbs with care and attention to detail
- Following food safety and health & safety guidelines
- Supporting your team to hit daily targets and keep things running smoothly
- Making sure everything is labelled, sealed, and packed correctly
- Keeping your workspace clean and safe
- Spotting issues early and speaking up when something’s not right
- Learning to use machinery safely and accurately
- Helping the team stay on track by communicating clearly and positively
- Taking part in improvement projects that help us grow together
What we’re looking for:
- A good eye for detail
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Someone who enjoys working as part of a team
- Basic English-speaking skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Experience in packing, production, or warehouse work is helpful but not essential
The details:
- This is a full-time role on a 4 on / 3 off shift pattern
- Shifts can be up to 12 hours, depending on production needs
- You’ll be working in a warehouse environment with machinery, so safety is always a priority
What you’ll get in return:
- Life Assurance
- Free parking on-site
- A workplace pension scheme
- 26.5 days holiday
- Employee discount scheme
- Access to wellbeing support and 24/7 GP services
- Free hot drinks
- Ongoing training and development opportunities
- Career progression and internal promotions
- A referral programme for recommending friends to join the team
At Vitacress, we’re proud of the care we put into everything we do—from how we treat our people to how we grow our produce. If that sounds like the kind of place you’d like to be a part of, we’d love to hear from you.
