About the Role

Highly capable Fleet Operations Manager – to lead and manage the safe, efficient delivery of field-based maintenance contracts. This is a key safety-critical role responsible for overseeing daily operations, coordinating third-party service providers, and ensuring contractual obligations are met in line with the highest safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • p>Lead a dedicated field services team and coordinate third-party suppliers to deliver planned and reactive maintenance

  • Champion a Safety First culture across all operations, setting the tone and leading by example

  • Ensure contract obligations are met through effective deployment of staff and resources

The new joiner shall be able to interact with a diverse set of internal teams (finance, planning, central operations) and external providers (fleet management companies, rental suppliers). Weekly, this position will coordinate closely with our IN-Central Ops. team to resolve invoice discrepancies, lead validation calls with suppliers and ensure SLA compliance. Additional duties include supporting PO modifications and closures, monitoring Coupa ticket resolution (e.g., SIM cases), standardizing cost templates, and checking rate card updates between supplier and Amazon to improve process efficiency and data accuracy.

Review and validate FMC monthly cost submissions from Central Operations team (idle and pre-deployment categories) across all the countries.

Open the Rental purchase orders

Coordinate with Central Operations team on cost discrepancies, ensuring timely escalation resolution and minimal back-and-forth.

Lead the rental invoice validation Weekly Business Review to manage the rental supplieru2019s escalations

Manually input Pre-Approval Spend (PAS) data into systems, applying accurate financial codes and resolving submission blockers.

Track and update Actuals vs. PAS monthly data, analyze deviations, and prepare Finance review inputs.

Monitor and follow up on purchase order creation, modifications, and closure workflows with suppliers

Support on weekly/biweekly calls with suppliers to ensure purchase order status alignment and cost submission verification.

Track approval chain finalization and Coupa system validations, including appropriate ticket follow-up and issue resolution.

Manage monthly approval creation and uploads, ensuring SLA compliance and accuracy in documentation.

Bachelor's degree or higher.

Solid experience handling complex programs. Ideally in supply chain / inventory management / cost control.

Experience in aggregating information and communicating effectively to internal and external stakeholders. Comfortable with communicating and liaising with senior leadership

Key job responsibilities

Create innovative solutions using data and analysis to address wider challenges in your organization; liaise with stakeholders across the entire Amazon operations business to implement these solutions

Take a big-picture approach in your analysis of business operations, create processes for driving improvements across a range of teams and organizations

Work alongside leadership to establish and prioritize improvement programs, taking the lead in delivering them from start to finish and frequently reporting on the program status

Challenge the status quo on the outbound transportation and supply chain processes together with partner teams to create and manage an end-to-end EU capacity roadmap that drives excellence in delivering customer experience

Play a key role in planning and forecasting for Amazon's key sales events, working with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure the timing and accuracy of the forecast meets their needs



A day in the life

As a Program Manager, you will drive and manage the implementation of creative, data-driven change in Amazon, leading improvement projects and programs. You will use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan and steer decision making across large stakeholder groups. You will play a key role in driving the performance, innovation and reliability of the end-to-end transportation teams, working cross-functionally with teams across the entire Amazon business. You will closely collaborate with partner teams to scope scalable solutions to optimize our end-to-end outbound supply chain.

Program Managers have significant responsibilities, and you will deal with complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership. With a responsibility extending beyond process improvements, you could also contribute to improving other areas of the business, like diversity, equity, and inclusion.



About the team

The team specializes on end-to-end transport and supply chain optimization. The team has a Program Management and Analytics pillar to drive excellence in outbound operations planning.

Basic Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



- Bachelor's degree

- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

- Experience in program or project management

- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

- Experience defining and executing program requirements

Preferred Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



- Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

- Experience leading process improvements

- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

We have great opportunities for Logistics Planners to work on complex, innovative and world leading projects. Join us and you will be working alongside other teams to deliver products that will be in service for 40+ years and be continually upgraded to maintain Customers Defence capabilities.

As a Logistics Planner / Equipment Management Planner , you could be conducting planning activities across a wide range of products covering the production lifecycle of minor and major assemblies and delivery to customers. These tasks could range from assembly scheduling, load smoothing, progress monitoring and order book management.

Experience required:

  • Experience within a logistics planning and/or supply chain role and awareness of procedures and processes, including an awareness & understanding of Export Control
  • IT proficient, including the use of MS software such as outlook and excel
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to engage and work well with a number of cross functional stakeholders
  • Experience within a Manufacturing and supply chain environment and an awareness of governance within a such environments
  • Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
  • Working knowledge of EMS (our Typhoon SPEC Tracking system)
  • Ability to contribute to problem solving activities for the development of short and long term solutions to day to day problems
  • Applicants ideally will hold professional accreditation and qualification from a recognised Logistics/Supply Chain body, or be willing to work towards professional accreditation and qualification
