Job Title: Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager
Salary : Negotiable dependent upon experience
Location : Ramsgate, Kent
Aeropeople have partnered with a global designer and manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices who are now looking to hire a permanent Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to be based at their site in Ramsgate.

As a global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices they offer specialised services for more than 5,000 components over a variety of aircraft systems with capabilities covering aircraft windings, electrical power, hydraulic components, landing gear and safety equipment.
The successful candidate will be based at the Ramsgate site but will oversee the EHS functions across their sites in Ramsgate, Stansted and Luton.
Main Responsibilities:
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight:
- Ensure compliance with UK HSE legislation and environmental regulations li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ISO standards < i>Prepare for and manage external audits and inspections
Risk Management:
- li>Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses
Policy & Procedure Development:
- < i>Create and update EHS policies, procedures, and manuals and ensure they are communicated and understood
Training & Awareness:
- li>Deliver or coordinate EHS training programs for staff and contractors < i>Promote a safety culture through awareness campaigns and toolbox talks < i>Ensure new employees receive EHS inductions
Monitoring & Reporting:
- li>Track and report on EHS performance metrics < i>Maintain records of accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents li>Use data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
Site & Project Support:
- Conduct site inspections and safety audits
Environmental Management:
- li>Manage waste disposal, pollution control, and resource conservation
Health Surveillance & Monitoring:
Risk Assessment for Health Hazards:
- li>Identify and assess occupational health risks < i>Ensure COSHH assessments are up to date and controls are in place

About You:
- Pr vious experience in an EHS Management role
- Aerospace sector experience is preferred but other sectors will be considered
- Up to date compliance knowledge in UK HSE legislation and environmental regulations
