Expedia Group is seeking a Senior Manager of Product Management to drive our SEO/Organic Search product team within the Marketing organization. In this high-impact role, you will manage a team of product managers focused on driving organic traffic acquisition across traditional search engines and emerging answer engines (AI search). Your work will shape how millions of travelers discover Expedia Group brands, leveraging deep search expertise, scalable content solutions, and platform capabilities to improve performance and relevance.
You’ll bring a strong SEO/Search product mindset, technical depth in content systems and data-driven platforms, and a passion for solving visibility and discovery challenges. You will collaborate closely with partners in Engineering, ML, Analytics, UX, and SEO Strategy to deliver search-centric solutions at scale.
In this role, you will:Craft and articulate a compelling SEO product vision that aligns with business goals and evolving search engine behaviors.
Own and execute the roadmap for scalable SEO experiences—across landing pages, content structures, and search innovations like GenAI and answer engines.
Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Data Science, Content, and Design to develop, launch, and optimize high-impact SEO solutions.
Drive product discovery through experimentation, structured testing, and data-driven hypothesis validation.
Define and track SEO success metrics such as rankings, indexation, visibility share, and non-paid traffic growth.
Work closely with data and ML teams to integrate models that improve content relevance, search targeting, and automated optimization.
Balance delivery speed and SEO rigor by applying agile methodologies while adhering to core SEO principles.
Translate SEO strategy into scalable execution plans, ensuring clear
Prioritization and cross-team alignment.
Collaborate with marketing, legal, and localization teams to deliver globally relevant and compliant SEO products.
Advocate for SEO product investment by framing business cases, quantifying opportunity, and aligning with Expedia’s broader growth priorities.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience: 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on SEO/Marketing or content platform products.
Demonstrated success in scaling organic search products and leading high-performing cross-functional teams.
Deep knowledge of SEO fundamentals, including crawlability, indexation, internal linking, structured data, and search engine behavior.
Proven ability to build test-and-learn programs, with strong experiment design and data interpretation skills.
Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, SQL, Querybook, and other analytics platforms to guide product insights and decision-making.
Experience working with engineering, data, content, and UX teams to deliver impactful, performant SEO products.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to simplify complex concepts and drive alignment.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $173,000.00 to $42,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to 277,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.

SUMMARY:
Responsible for project coordination and performing various administrative functions for multiple
client accounts/projects. Partners with Project Managers to assist in execution of various
deliverables and management of engagements. Thrives in a team environment to meet production
goals, schedule meeting, maintain processes and manage daily work flow. Responsible for all
deliverables within client engagements. It is an essential business support role and will suit
someone who has excellent numerical skills, an understanding of profit and loss, and fantastic
relationship building skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To provide a varied project portfolio support service to the Heidrick Consulting business, including:
- • Owning the full lifecycle management of smaller internal projects or client engagements (i.e., smaller sized assessment work, single workshop/session engagements, etc.). This includes building and managing a project plan tracking work in progress with the account team, creating billing schedules, dealing with Finance team on invoicing of fees and expenses, and could include opportunity logging, supporting proposal creation (overseen by Project Manager).
- Supports Project Manager or other Coordinators in set up and management of engagement with client PMO by attending meetings and managing tasks.
- Provide administrative and technical support to client teams throughout the lifecycle of the engagement.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of assigned projects.
- Supporting other Project Coordinators or Managers on delivery of larger projects as required, enabling us to respond quickly to client demand.
- Use a variety of software tools to administer and support all aspects of client engagement(s)
- Collaboration with Project and Product Managers and others to ensure high quality production and logistics of deliverables
- Format and edit client facing and operational documents, including creation of templates and branding adherence.
- Understanding HC tools and managing and administering to clients as required
- Responsible for final assembly and quality of printed and electronic media.
- Training – assisting with training of new hires as appropriate.
- Scheduling internal and external meetings using MS Outlook.
- Available to work Monday through Friday during normal office hours (for US only).
SKILLS NECESSARY TO SUCCEED:
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and is able to create project plans with some support for internal or client projects/engagements
- Excellent client services skills: clear communication, knowledge of all products and services, responsive to all needs, ability to troubleshoot with some support.
- Excellent attention to detail as well as organizational, planning and time management skills; proficient at meeting deadlines, including tight deadlines and working on multiple projects in a fast paced and challenging environment.
- Flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude and passion for delivery.
- Pro-active and logical thinking with creative and collaborative problem-solving ability.
- Good communication, negotiation and numerical skills.
- Aptitude to work well with others and delegate as appropriate.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Project Management software.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar corporate environment role.
- Proven record in delivering successful projects, without close supervision.
- Degree qualification preferred.
- Professional qualifications in project management preferred, e.g. PRINCE2/PMP equivalent.
