The Aerospace Assembly Team are responsible for the development and assembly of new, and the overhaul of service run Defence and Civil aero engines. The team are based within the assembly facility, working closely with physical products and are accountable directly for delivery to our customers.

The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with production to ensure minimum disruption to production in the event of any down time of machinery by quick responses to equipment failures and regular PPM’s as a proactive measure.

This is a varied and interesting role, that will see you become responsible for major engineering projects within a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility near Lancaster.
Due to an exciting period of growth, we are recruiting for a manufacturing / process engineer to join a highly skilled and busy operations and production team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting new product introductions, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and optimizing production processes through lean manufacturing principles.
This role would suit a motivated engineer looking for a technically interesting role, where you will receive continuous professional development and funding to attend external courses for things such as lean 6 sigma for example.

The Role:
*Improving efficiency & reducing waste
*Managing NPI and continuous improvement projects
*Collaborating with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Production,
and Supply Chain.
The Candidate:
*Engineering related degree or similar qualification - Essential
*Experience within a manufacturing environment - Essential
*Must live a commutable distance away from Lancaster
