The Role

The Marketing Automation Specialist plays a key role in managing our marketing automation platform and maximizing its potential. You'll have the exciting opportunity to design, implement, and optimize campaigns across a variety of channels.

In this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, design, and product, to ensure we deliver consistent messaging and create seamless customer experiences.

As our Marketing Automation Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

 Responsible for email marketing program development and execution, including segmentation, testing, and deployment, and continually evaluate these for improvements. 

  • Responsible for the management of all email nurture tracks, and continually evaluating them against conversion and retention KPI targets 
  • Design and implement efficient workflows to nurture leads, engage customers, and drive conversions. 
  • Maintain Marketing Automation integration with Salesforce CRM and assist in the integration of additional platforms into the marketing automation software 
  • Understand and evaluate campaign metrics and distribute campaign performance to the marketing team. 
  • Work with management to define KPIs, create reporting, analyze campaign performance. Create recommendations to improve campaigns continuously. 
  • Manage marketing automation efforts and processes, proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards 
  • Plan and perform A/B testing to define and execute enhancements to productivity, conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, and sales growth 
  • Support essential marketing operations initiatives in Salesforce Cloud Suite such as managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, and data cleansing 
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize strategies. 
  • Develop and maintain audience segmentation strategies to personalize messaging and maximize impact. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, content, and design, to ensure alignment and effectiveness. 
  • Implement A/B testing to optimize campaigns and continuously improve results. 

About you

  • 5+ years of experience as a Marketing Automation Specialist, or similar role 
  • Highly proficient with the Salesforce Marketing Cloud; Journey builder in particular 
  • An understanding and wording knowledge of HTML, CCS & AMPScript 
  • A proven track record of deploying new client journeys; from scope to deployment and optimisation 
  • Demonstrated ability to improve campaign performance, generate leads, and achieve conversion / retention KPI’s with marketing automation campaigns  
  • Excellent judgment, decision making, networking and high-level communication skills 
  • Proven track record of building and deploying effective segmentation strategies 
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to work independantly, problem solve  
  • Strong project management and organisational skills needed to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, and the ability to flourish in a fast paced and collaborative environment 
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • The ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and marketing trends is essential.

**JOB DUTIES:**
