Requirements
- NVQ, BTEC, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Process Operations, or related discipline (preferred).

- Strong understanding of process control systems, mechanical/electrical equipment, and operational safety.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, process flow diagrams, and engineering instructions.

Roles and Responsibilities
As the Process Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Performing plant walk-arounds and inspections, ensuring optimum performance of plant machinery
- Carrying out first line maintenance work when appropriate
- Assisting with plant shutdowns and preventative maintenance
- Assist and cover the Fuel Operators role when required
- Operating a range of mobile plant including FLTs, excavators etc

To be considered for this role you should have:

Duties & responsibilities:
- Must be safety focussed, demonstrate good safety behaviours and be comfortable to raise safety concerns should they arise.
- Experience of working with chemicals and COSHH would be an advantage. Must be comfortable wearing PPE including a full face mask when required (no facial hair permitted).
- Required to operate various critical processes including i) impregnation and drying plant, ii) thermal processing equipment and iii) onsite effluent treatment facility.
- Required to perform in line testing on manufactured product and quality assurance checks.
