Reporting to the Production Manager, the Sheeter Operativeu2019s job is to make-ready, run the Sheeting Machine and drive fork-lift/pump trucks, being part of the two-man crew performing the following tasks:-
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Moving reels from Variomann print area to sheeting using clamp/pump truck
* Feeding machine - Loading reels and threading paper reel into the machine
* Operating guillotines
* Setting the machine to run for optimum efficiency
* Setting, loading and unloading delivery unit using fork lift truck
* Carrying out regular maintenance tasks/guard checks
* Carry out required in process checks (paper and electronic recording)

Our client is a global manufacturing leader in their industry and is offering great progression opportunities to grow with the company.
Rate of pay: £16.81ph including 30% shift allowance. (overtime available at higher rates)

The ideal candidate must:
- Have a strong mechanical background (either through experience or qualification)

- Be flexible with working a rotating Panama shift pattern
