The Current Account and Savings team is responsible for the product management of current accounts, instant access savings accounts, notice deposits, term deposits and fiduciary deposits across Private Bank & Wealth Management (PBWM). The team plays a critical role in delivering balance and revenue targets for PBWM and supporting franchise growth. Purpose of the role
To develop and manage the success of specific financial products and services, providing in-depth expertise on a particular product line, bridging the gap between product development, marketing, sales, and customer service.
Accountabilities
- Provision of SME expertise on specific products and services to customers and colleagues, including features, functionalities, benefits, limitations, risks and compliance.
- Identification of market trends, new features, regulatory requirements and potential risks, and analysis of data obtained from sales figures and, customer feedback, to support the product strategy and development process, and communicate key findings to relevant stakeholders to improve and implement new product offerings.
- Response to colleague and stakeholder inquiries, resolution of issues, and provision of guidance on product usage. .
- Presentation of the advantages and features of the product to potential customers, building trust and encouraging adoption.
- Assistance with the development and execution of marketing materials for the product, such as brochures, presentations, and online content.
- Participation in and delivery of training sessions and workshops to share product knowledge and expertise with colleagues and other stakeholders.
- Participation in events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to showcase the product and generate interest.

Purpose of the role
You will provide engineering support to the Artillery team to ensure the delivery of projects within the team. Working with the Portfolio Manager and reporting to the Senior Product Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the programmes/projects include appropriate engineering development activity to achieve a robust solution. The activities will be planned with robust estimates for completion with sound risk mitigation built in. The position will be primarily based at the BAE Systems Land UK site in Glascoed, Monmouthshire on a four-day working pattern within a hybrid-working environment, occasional travel to other customer, manufacturing and test and evaluation sites will be necessary.
Core Duties
Typical Duties include:
• Supporting the product design and systems engineering activities for new and legacy products
• Generating Safety Case Paperwork and Technical documentation relating to the service use of products
• Conducting and managing product and process design, development, test, manufacture and evaluation activities. Ensuring that safety remains the highest priority in the working practices of yourself and the team
• Conducting and managing trials in a safe and suitable manner, from planning through to trials execution to reporting and presenting conclusions
• Application of effective Engineering Governance throughout the product development lifecycle supporting design reviews from concept to disposal
• Configuration and maintenance of Engineering Bills of Materials for products
• Product design and evaluation / down selection e.g. Pugh Matrices, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA)

Description
Provide daily administrative support to the Product Development team.
Coordinate the full sample process: request, delivery tracking, photographing, assign PD codes, label and dispatch to customers for approval to ensure timelines are met.
Liaise with overseas mills to obtain costs, packaging specifications, documentation, and technical details, while evaluating product costings and performing cross-cost analyses.
Ensure all product documentation and specifications are complete, well-organised, and up to date.
Maintain and prepare the showroom for customer meetings.
Support the team during customer visits and product meetings.
Maintain and organise the product sample library, ensuring samples are properly stored, labelled, and filed for easy access and reference.
Assist in creating PowerPoint presentations for customer product selections and preparing supporting content for client communication.
