The Role.

An Assistant Manager is the go-to person in the store on shift. You will be there to help inspire your colleagues to deliver the best customer experience in the business and help overcome any issues you come across. Due to the service that Wickes provides, you would be required to help multiple functions across the store. This could mean helping someone plan their dream bathroom one minute and then having to nip outside to help take in the delivery the next. All of this whilst ensuring everyone is kept safe.


This role will based within the Kitchen and Bathroom Showroom within the store.

You will have experience in running the show in a fast-paced customer facing environment and be someone who can handle the variety that each day at Wickes brings. You will be highly organised with a passion for ensuring our customers receive the best service we can deliver, all whilst inspiring and leading your team.

Covering the South East area, the successful Regional Merchandiser will take responsibility for maintaining strong relationships with national retail accounts, ensuring displays are current, engaging, and reflective of the brand's high standards.

What will you be doing as a Regional Merchandiser?

  • Managing the presentation of products in showrooms across your region, working with well-known accounts such as Wickes and Wren
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with showroom teams, offering guidance and support
  • Keeping product ranges up to date, ensuring displays are tidy, accurate and visually appealing
  • Acting as the eyes and ears in the field-feeding back customer insights and brand performance to the wider team

What are we looking for?

  • Personality is everything-we need a Regional Merchandiser who is approachable, positive, and confident communicating with people at all levels
  • Previous KBB experience is required (ideally sales or design)
  • Someone highly organised, self-motivated, and happy working independently
