A top-tier global pioneering consultancy firm is urgently looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant to join the team on a contract basis. They are seeking a professional with a deep understanding of maintenance planning, order management, and asset lifecycle processes within S/4HANA.

The role involves the full project lifecycle, from end-to-end implementations and functional configuration to mobile enablement for field technicians. A strong background in functional configuration is essential. Knowledge of Phase-Based Maintenance and SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM) mobile solutions is a significant plus.

Role Purpose

Central London (Hybrid)nAbout the Role:nWe are looking for a Senior SAP Technical Specialist to manage, maintain, and support a business-critical SAP system that hosts applications for the processing and issuance of bank notes and secure storage of gold bullion. The role will focus on SAP Basis (technical platform support, upgrades, Oracle DB, and Linux O/S administration) and requires expertise in large-scale transformations and SAP platform change programs.nKey Responsibilities:nLead major SAP technical change projects and platform upgrades.nMaintain SAP applications, databases, and operating systems.nDefine as-is and to-be technical designs and architectures for SAP platform technology.nProvide SAP technical support to business users 24x6, with occasional out-of-hours (evening/weekend) support.nProduce high-quality deliverables that comply with software development and assurance principles.nWork collaboratively in line with the bank’s core values: collaborative, inclusive, empowering, decisive, and open.nRequired Skills & Experience:nExpert SAP Basis knowledge (SAP Certified Application Associate minimum).nHands-on experience with Oracle-based SAP platforms, Linux O/S, and major SAP platform upgrades/migrations.nExperience in at least 3 full-cycle SAP installation or upgrade projects (requirements → design → delivery → BAU support).nStrong knowledge of SAP application lifecycle, including logistics, enhancement packs, upgrades, and advanced corrections.nExcellent communication, organization, and self-motivation.nFamiliarity with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira).nTOGAF foundation or formal solution architecture experience in SAP technology.nExperience with Oracle RAC and Oracle Database clustering.nSC Cleared or SC Clearance Eligible candidates only.nPrimarily remote work, occasional visits to site required.nCore hours: 09:30 – 16:30.nOut-of-hours support rota: Sunday through Friday, 1 week in 3 (17:00 – 08:00+1).nHow to Apply:nPlease confirm your SC clearance status in your cover sheet and share your CV to (Insert Email).
