Senior SAP BW Consultant - Watford - Hybrid - 12-month FTC - 66K

Nigel Frank has been retained by a Watford based organisation that is currently hiring for a Senior SAP BW/4HANA Consultant to ensure the operational efficiency and support the current ERP system SAP BW. This role is key to contribute the design and supporting the SAP data warehousing and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have the flexibility to work in-office 2 days a week and have experience supporting BW development, ABAP coding and ECC core SAP modules. This is a great opportunity for someone to work in a global business and have a real impact on the how the business utilises it's ERP solution.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues raised through incident tickets, some requiring technical development
• Manage support requests that typically do not involve coding or system modifications
• Enhancement Work: Deliver low to mid-level system changes and improvements based on user or business needs
• Support larger-scale development initiatives as part of broader cross-functional project teams
• Respond to general inquiries and miscellaneous requests outside standard support categories

Key Experience & Skills:

• Experience working with SAP BW (BW on HANA or BW/4HANA)
• BW object types and toolsets used in enterprise reporting and analytics
• Proven ability to build complex ABAP solutions tailored to the BW environment
• Understanding of how ABAP integrates with BW processes, such as data transformations and extractor enhancements
• Broad module coverage, with experience in with the ECC core SAP modules
• General understanding of how BW integration differs between SAP ECC and the S/4HANA platform

You as a Global SAP CoE team member will be assigned to be a part of SAP Global CoE -located in  Europe (UK/Germany/France/Sweden/Denmark/Italy)-  to support the digital transformation of global companies and respond to their challenges of transforming their businesses around SAP solutions (S/4HANA at the core, BTP, and all required extensions from both SAP, Hyper-scalers or other third party SAP partners).

You will be a key figure of the early shaping, ERP advisory, solutioning  and delivery of SAP transformation programs, leveraging our unique and flexible end-to-end Large Transformation Program and Reference model approach. Starting from the business ambition, we translate it into a target architecture and progressive roadmap that delivers business value faster, by combining “core SAP” implementation of SAP S/4HANA and Agile delivery for the BTP and other best-of-breed Cloud applications.

• Defining and documenting S/4 Enterprise Data Standards.
• Ensuring readiness of existing SAP data for migration.
• Supporting the implementation of key data objects such as Profit Centres, Cost Centres, WBS elements, and COPA fields.
• Engaging with data offices and governance forums to ensure quality and compliance.

• Strong expertise in Finance Data, FICO, Controlling, and Process Design.

Your role

Your skills and experience

• Senior consulting role across multiple full cycle projects in SAP S4/HANA or ECC working in PP/Manufacturing. 
• Experience in managing a team in client facing projects. 
• Responsible for the deliverables within client facing projects and delivering results. 
• Advocate of best practice design principles along with an advisory focus and demonstrate being able to provide solutions for business requirements. 
• You have a passion to work with our clients, advising them on how to get the most out of their SAP technologies.  
• Have experience in multiple end-to-end design and implementation programmes with SAP 
• Awareness of various project lifecycle tools such as Atlassian JIRA, SAP Solution Manager and SAP Signavio   
• Be proficient and have vast hands-on config experience in PP/Manufacturing capabilities to lead your area and provide solutions for clients dealing with the likes of: 
  • SAP Production Planning Organization structure - Plant, Storage locations, Work Centres and assignment of overall structure.  
  • Production Master Data  
  • Order Execution, Production Planning, Integration with MES, Integration with external planning systems, Integration with Shop Floor Control systems 
  • S4/HANA Master Production Scheduling and Material Requirements Planning, including Demand Management and Long Term Planning

• Have experience of the Fiori applications within the PP/Manufacturing area. 
• Industry and business process knowledge in one or more of the following sectors is an advantage: Aerospace and Defence, Consumer Products, Pharma or Discrete Manufacturing 
• Can demonstrate knowledge of the strategic direction of SAP and related products.
