OVERVIEW
The Sales Assistant is responsible for all aspects of sales support before, during and after the deal negotiation process. The role also provides administrative support, including coordinating marketing material, product management, and liaising internally and externally to ensure smooth operation of existing deals. Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales, Product, Client and Marketing Support
+ Overseeing end to end deal completion including inputting Field Orders (deal terms) into internal systems and processing deal amendments, episode updates, payment schedules, and providing synopsis information and series listings when requested;
+ Preparing product availability reports across all genres of programming including Feature Films, Scripted and Non-Scripted Series, Documentaries and TV/Film Specials including creating curated avails for clients upon request
+ Regularly updating the market with programming sell sheets and research information, and pro-actively gathering customer programming feedback and recording on programme tracking document
+ Working with the product teams in London and LA to create localised summary updates to be sent to clients
+ Working closely with a number of internal departments including the marketing team to ensure client support and provision of marketing materials, the finance team regarding invoicing and payment, the legal team to ensure contracts are signed and with the materials servicing team to ensure timely supply of materials to broadcasters
+ Keeping on top of industry updates, channel/platform launches and overall market intel
+ Liaising with clients with respect to screener/promo access and client product queries.
+ Liaising with the VP Sales and Sales Manager to assist with producing planned and ad hoc budget updates and update budget reports as necessary.
Administrative Support
+ Administrative support for the and Vice President Sales Liaison & Sales Manager including:
+ Managing calendars and coordinating meetings/conference calls;
+ Providing administrative support for various projects including PowerPoint and other presentation materials;
+ Processing expense reports
Markets, Travel and Events
+ Coordinate international travel arrangements and schedules for the team
+ Coordinate and schedule meetings and social events for markets (LA Screenings, London Screenings and MIPCOM).
+ Arrange client events, meetings, general client entertainment (dinners/premieres etc); arranging standalone local client screenings including preparing and sending invites, liaising with the projection room, booking the screening room, ordering catering, liaising with marketing, liaising with product and managing rsvp lists
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

With no day being the same, you must be adaptable and positive to deliver our products whilst maintaining high standards.nAs an ambassador of our iconic brand, you will contribute to creating a high end and welcoming environment for every guest.The ideal candidate will possess strong common sense, a hardworking attitude, and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure smooth and efficient operations, especially during the trading peak period.nKey Responsibilities:nCustomer Service ExcellencenGreet customers warmly, creating a welcoming and high-end shopping experience.nAssist customers in selecting Ladurée products, such as macarons, pastries, and gifts, while providing knowledgeable recommendations based on customer preferences.nUphold Ladurées exceptional service standards by ensuring each customer interaction is personal, courteous, and attentive.nHandle customer inquiries and provide detailed information about product origins, flavours, ingredients, and Ladurées unique offerings.nSales and UpsellingnActively engage in upselling and cross-selling Ladurée products, such as promoting seasonal or limited-edition items.nAchieve individual and team sales targets by fostering repeat business and building customer loyalty.nAccurately process customer transactions, handle cash and card payments, and manage receipts and customer orders efficiently.nStore Presentation and Stock ManagementnMaintain the stores aesthetic appeal by arranging and restocking displays, ensuring they are visually appealing and align with Ladurées brand standards.nMonitor inventory levels, restocking as necessary, and inform management of any shortages to prevent disruption to customer experience.nAssist with daily stock counts, inventory control, and managing stock rotation to ensure product freshness and quality.nProduct Knowledge and Brand RepresentationnDevelop and maintain a deep understanding of Ladurée products, history, and values to effectively communicate them to customers.nRepresent Ladurées brand ethos through a polished appearance, language, and behaviour that aligns with the brand's luxury positioning.nOperational SupportnSupport store operations by participating in opening and closing routines, cleaning, and other duties that ensure a smooth store environment.nAdhere to health and safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards, particularly in handling food products.nManage packaging for customer orders with precision and care, ensuring it meets Ladurées quality standards.nTeam CollaborationnWork collaboratively with team members, supporting each other in creating a memorable shopping experience.nAttend regular team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new products, promotions, and company policies.nQualifications:nPrevious retail or customer service experience, ideally within a high-end food or hospitality brand.nExceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.nStrong attention to detail, particularly in following brand standards and visual merchandising guidelines.nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple customers and transactions with efficiency.nFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.nPreferred Skills:nPassion for gourmet food, pastries, and the Ladurée brand.nExperience in using Point of Sale (POS) systems.nBenefits:nCompetitive hourly wagenEmployee discounts on Ladurée products.nOpportunities for professional growth within the brand and exposure to a prestigious environment.nMonthly Travel AllowancenIf youre someone whos motivated, resilient, and ready to make a difference, we would love to hear from you!
