Working collaboratively with the education team, you will deliver bespoke Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent or have SEMH needs. You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working. About the role

The post is located within Care First – Pheasey, Walsall area. You will be joining a new clinical team to facilitate MDT working, consisting of Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy. The clinical team is embedded into the structure of the provision which enables positive and effective multi-disciplinary working across the education services, in order to maximise clinical outcomes for the adults. Outcomes First Group support the clinical CPD in the North Region which facilitates supervision and training opportunities in order to deliver interventions that are strong in research evidence base.

You will be working within the overall framework of the service policies and procedures and within existing MDT and Clinical Governance structures to support the services in future development and ensuring quality assurance.

Working collaboratively with the education team, you will deliver bespoke Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent or have SEMH needs. You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working. You will continue to drive our shared vision and strategic plan through inspirational leadership and motivates pupils, staff, and everyone within our school community and beyond. Your leadership should express core educational values and moral purpose and include stakeholders’ values and beliefs. The strategic planning process is critical to sustaining school improvement and ensuring that the school moves forward for the benefit of its pupils.

You will collaborate with the school's senior leadership team and the Regional Director to provide an inclusive approach to outstanding educational and therapeutic provision which is well established in the school.

You will have overall responsibility for the strategic leadership of the school whilst maintaining ongoing communication with schools to ensure that the provision and standards are consistently high across the schools.

Essential:

• Relevant experience in the specialist area of the service, i.e. relevant experience working with young people/young adults with autistic spectrum disorders and/or challenging behaviour
• Relevant experience as a Head Teacher or Deputy Head Teacher in a Complex Special Needs School.
• Experience with Ofsted procedures/inspections and working with School Improvement Partners.
• Manage budgets effectively and ensure cost efficiency and financial compliance.
• Relevant Teaching Qualification

Options Trent Acres is an outstanding independent specialist school; providing 141 places for pupils age 5-19.

The school operates across two sites in Staffordshire providing academic and vocational opportunities in another both a rural, 12-acre site and a newly built college setting.
