The London Corporate Banking Relationship Coverage team is an integral part of TD Securities, focused on delivering the Bank's wholesale products and services to our European client base. Our client base is predominantly investment grade European multinational corporations with significant links to North America. The Corporate Banking Relationship Coverage team centrally manages the client relationship end-to-end, catering to the client's needs and centrally coordinating across product teams to deliver TD's full suite of services with focus on lending, multi-currency Debt Capital Markets, Rates and FX solutions, commodity hedging, trade finance, securitization, and cash management.
**Position Overview**
The successful candidate will join the team as an Analyst, reporting into the Managing Director, and working closely with all members of the coverage team.
Principle responsibilities will include:
+ Supporting the senior bankers in identifying, analysing and securing new target clients where TD can develop a profitable business relationship, on a risk adjusted basis
+ Partnering with senior members of the Coverage team to provide overall relationship management support and client coverage at the Treasurer/ Treasury Manager level
+ Working with the Senior Bankers to develop and maintain relationships within the European banking market to raise the profile of TD

Qualifications:
+ Some background of relevant experience in an investment banking or corporate banking graduate program, relationship coverage team, or a relevant product team is advantageous.
+ Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent - studying towards CFA, ACT or an accounting designation is considered an asset.

**The team you'll be working with:**
As part of our Consulting, Strategy and Advisory practice in the UK&I you will be working with a range of client organisations that may be in sectors where you have prior experience or may in some cases be entirely new for you.

**What you'll be doing:**
+ Surveillance Analytics team within Corporate Bank (CB) Technology, which provides a holistic view of clients across all businesses and systems globally to a range of key stakeholders in the front office, back office and operations. This team provides a key supporting role in ensuring that Deutsche Bank complies with regulatory commitments.
+ As a member of filtering control data analysis team, conduct data analysis to
+ identify direct or indirect flows from payment systems to transaction filtering system
+ identify the linkage between payment and filtering records
+ Review published filtering requirement documents and connect with respective payment systems to identify the filtering eligible transactions
+ Write SQL queries to capture and validate the linkage and eligibility logic
+ Create technical documentation for linkage and eligibility logic, SQL queries, assumptions made, source documentation references etc.
+ Address queries/doubts from the control development team
+ Support the investigation of reported recon exceptions. Identify false exceptions and enhance the control logic to address false exceptions.
+ Contribute in the Agile/Scrum ways of working, - manage and elaborate the backlog items, join scrum ceremonies,
+ Work with other squad members to enable cross-skilling.
**What experience you'll bring:**
+ Experience in functional analysis (payment domain)
+ Experience in data analysis and techniques with good knowledge in SQL and GCP BigQuery
+ Experience in understanding of data model, data specifications and data formats (e.g., JSON)
+ Understanding of Cash Management Products and Payment Standards, e.g., SWIFT MT, ISO20022
+ Understanding of payment domain (SWIFT MT and MX message types) and other ACH message formats will be a bonus
+ Experience of working in an Agile development methodology supporting remote as well as local delivery teams
+ An ability to understand and translate control requirements into business and data requirements whilst adhering to the agreed specification quickly and effectively.

Collaborating with clients, applying a strong consultative approach, adding true value with both your Architectural skillset and demonstrated experience selling the metrics of a good API strategy to senior business and IT stakeholders.

QualificationsnWhat experience you'll bring:

A track record of working in a consulting environment coupled with knowledge of architectural frameworks to support structured work methodologies, such as TOGAF and Zachman Frameworks. You will also be able to demonstrate experience of headless architectures, web security standards and Microservices.

You'll also bring:

Delivery with Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE), such as with Archimate and Sparx EA.

Broad expertise of technologies and applications, such as integration and messaging services, ERP, CRM, Case Management, online / digital services and be familiar with market research and emerging technology approaches.

Have a solid grasp and the ability to use various architecture and application deployment patterns, such as SOA, microservices, event-driven, layered models, and so on.

Strong expertise in creating conceptual designs for business cases, as well as high-level and low-level design documentation.

The ability to spot and address common themes and architecturally significant concerns

Excellent communication skills and strengths in producing high quality and accurate documentation.

Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills.

Adept in using a range of influencing styles to building strong sustainable relationships.
