Role Overview

We are seeking a driven, passionate, forward-thinking and experienced digital marketer to join our media team at VanStar Wakefield. This role is ideal for a candidate with 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media, videography content, photography and paid social advertising.
Day-to-day you will be tasked with photographing and overlaying our vehicles, creating engaging video content that highlights our extensive vehicle offering, capturing on-brand social media content and optimising paid social ads with a clear focus on performance, lead generation and follower growth.
With significant growth plans underway, this role will also involve contributing to the development and execution of wider marketing strategies, including direct marketing, outreach initiatives, radio advertising, and LinkedIn campaigns. Working closely with the Digital Content Manager , you will play a pivotal role in driving the business forward digitally. Together, you’ll collaborate to enhance performance across video, social media, and paid advertising—continually refining our digital output to align with strategic objectives.

Must-Have Experience
To be considered for this role, you must have 5+ years of experience across the following areas of digital marketing and content:
- Videography & Editing – Your tech-savvy and confident using cameras. You regularly shoot, edit, and share high-quality video content.
- Social Media Star – You know social media like the back of your hand. From growing accounts to optimizing content and staying ahead of trends, you're always on top of what’s working.
- Photography – You have hands-on experience capturing compelling content for both web and social platforms.
- Software Wizard – You’re highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro. You know how to edit, colour grade, and export video content with ease.
- Ads Manager Pro – You have a proven track record of running paid campaigns via Meta Ads Manager. You know how to set up, optimise, and report on performance effectively.
- Marketing Strategies – You’ve been involved in developing and delivering outreach marketing campaigns or projects that drive measurable results.
- Full valid UK driving license – You must have a full valid UK driving license.
Desirable Skills
While not essential, the following experience and interests would be highly advantageous:
- Automotive Industry Experience – Previous experience in the automotive sector or a similar role is a strong plus.
- Panasonic Lumix Expertise – Familiarity with Panasonic Lumix cameras is beneficial.
