IQVIA Medical Communications (IMC) is seeking an Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate is an editorial professional looking to build on their 2+ years of relevant medical/scientific editing experience, who also has clinical knowledge and great communication skills.

**The Editor Position**
This position is home-based with frequent collaboration with a globally distributed team. IQVIA offers a competitive salary and great benefits, including a profit-related annual bonus.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a key member of our Content Development Team, you will be responsible for editing a variety of medical communications deliverables to a high standard, by carrying out the following activities:
+ Provide consistent and high-quality editorial services for assigned projects in accordance with the needs and objectives of the client, compliance requirements, intended audience, and modality, independently or with minimal oversight.
+ Edit for grammar, punctuation, and style using American Medical Association (AMA) Manual of Style, UK English resources, and internal and client style guides.
+ Suggest substantive revisions to improve comprehension, clarity, and flow.
+ Perform fact-checking and ensure references are cited accurately.
+ Monitor and take responsibility for scheduled tasks, communicating with team members to deliver on time and within budgeted scope.
+ Exercise excellent interpersonal/communication skills for effective and professional collaboration with the internal team, clients, healthcare professionals, and other key stakeholders.
+ Respond effectively to questions related to allocated areas of responsibility.
+ Grow our accounts: Identify innovative ideas for active projects and participate in the creation of proposals/pitches as needed.
+ Help to develop project specifications and cost estimates with oversight.
+ Welcome feedback and look to continually improve deliverables for deeper efficacy and engagement, with support.
+ Follow applicable company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance requirements.
+ Mentor new and less experienced Editors as appropriate.
+ Actively participate in an environment of continuous improvement.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, or life sciences with experience in research or healthcare.
+ 2+ years of prior editing experience, preferably in a medical communications agency.
+ Native English speaker or bilingual/proficient level of academic English.
+ Knowledge of the American Medical Association (AMA) Manual of Style and editing for both US and UK English.
+ A passion for medical/scientific editing and pride for your work.
+ Self-directed. Prioritizes tasks and manages time efficiently to meet deadlines within budgeted scope.
+ Strong work ethic and ability to work respectfully and harmoniously as part of a cross-functional team.
+ Proficiency editing content in a variety of formats, including documents, slides, and PDFs.
+ Proven ability to accurately interpret and edit scientific and clinical information.
+ A basic understanding of the drug development process, applicable industry guidelines, publication requirements, and MLR processes.

We are looking for a talented all rounder that will be able to work with a team to produce, shoot and edit headline grabbing interviews as well as live events. This will be for shows across our brands at the Spectator and UnHerd.
The successful candidate should have hands on experience on all these fronts as well as have a strong news-sense, with ideas on how to get the most out of our content. In this role you will also be primarily responsible for video and audio editing as well as operating our studio facilities.

We are looking for a talented and versatile journalist to join the EMEA Markets Editing team. This is an opportunity to shape stories across stocks, credit, emerging markets, currency and rates markets in a variety of formats. You will be challenged to write for a global audience, as well as handle quick turnarounds on breaking news and speedy market analysis.
You're a self-starter with a strong work ethic, a quick study who thrives under pressure and can navigate unfamiliar territory with aplomb. You are well-rounded enough to jump across different markets and can collaborate with a variety of teams and personalities.
You produce crisp and concise edits that resonate with a wide audience -- from our most sophisticated terminal users to our casual online readers. You'll help us handle the volume of day-to-day news flow and be strongly encouraged to lead enterprise that raises the bar of our markets coverage.
**We'll trust you to:**
+ Edit short- and long-form copy. Be game for everything from short, bullet-point blasts to complex, ambitious enterprise
+ Work closely with reporters to develop and refine their stories
+ Cut through jargon, and make complex stories appealing and understandable to a broad business audience
**You'll need to have:**
+ A minimum of 5 years of financial journalism experience
+ Intellectual curiosity and strong news judgement
+ Top-notch writing skills and the ability to craft concise, clean prose under deadline pressure
+ The ability to work in a big, fast-paced newsroom and collaborate with various stakeholders

Cyclingnews, the world’s largest road cycling website, is looking for an engagement editor to join our industry-leading international editorial team.
Cyclingnews has enjoyed exceptional growth in our community of paid subscribers since the introduction of our digital subscription in 2022. Reporting to the editor, the engagement editor will support the growth of this community while improving the core offering to Cyclingnews subscribers.
Taking an entrepreneurial approach, the engagement editor will seek out new subscribers, while developing ways to enrich the experience of our existing digital subscribers.
What you'll be doing…
The engagement editor will write and commission subscriber-led content, taking advantage of our premium content templates, and create regular reports on subscriber engagement to help inform this strategy - in collaboration with the Editor, Deputy Editor and Head of Features.
- They will build and manage a subscriber and registered user newsletter to establish a more direct relationship with our subscribers.
- The ideal candidate will be passionate about cycling, and specifically the world of pro racing, and be eager to enhance Cyclingnews’ already established authority in this space
- They will be confident in social media content creation and analytics geared toward subscriber engagement, and help to create a more defined tone of voice toward our subscriber audience.
- While focusing on editorial, the engagement editor will be familiar with key performance indicators in subscription marketing - seeking to improve our conversion and retention figures.
- They will be in regular contact with the digital subscription marketing team, while also liaising with Future’s technical teams to improve the subscriber user experience.
