At NITEX, we are seeking a talented and dedicated Fashion Illustrator to join our dynamic team. As a Fashion Illustrator, you will be responsible for creating appealing sketches and detailed clothing presentations. You will utilize your artistic flare and knowledge of fashion trends to produce stylish designs, which interprets and supports our brand vision.
Responsibilities
- Create and develop high-quality fashion illustrations, sketches, and patterns for our design team using both traditional and digital methods.
- Work closely and collaboratively with our product design and development teams to interpret and translate fashion ideas into beautifully crafted visuals and drawings.
- Stay aware of current fashion trends, color schemes, fabrics, and shapes to incorporate these elements into illustrations.
- Modify and revise illustrations based on feedback and guidance from the design team, ensuring all illustrations align with the brand's style guide and high quality standards.
- Prepare comprehensive layouts of the design using techniques such as stippling, hatching, and color blocking.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in fashion design, graphic design, illustration, or a related field is required.
- Proven experience as a Fashion Illustrator or similar role in the fashion industry.
- Exceptional portfolio of completed design projects, which demonstrate a strong understanding of illustration principles and aesthetic design concepts.
- Proficiency in design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Excellent sketching and drawing skills, with the ability to effectively translate and develop concepts into design sketches.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines without compromising on work quality.
- The ability to receive and incorporate feedback, with an aim for continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of latest fashion trends, fabrics, and colors.
