Role Highlights

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute the strategic marketing plan to achieve sales targets, expand our customer base and drive revenue growth.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to build out our target audience across our core markets and develop a comprehensive understanding of our key audience personas concentrated on the major financial services companies in each market.
  • Collaborate with product, sales and client success teams to develop messaging that resonates with our target audience.
  • Develop effective initiatives and strategies to reach our defined target audience and to drive sales enablement.
  • Lead the marketing team to create and execute lead-generation campaigns across a variety of channels, including e-mail, social media, PR, and events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Extensive years of experience in B2B marketing, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Experience leading a marketing function in a scale up business.
  • Experience managing a marketing team from the conceptualisation of a strategy to its close.
  • Strong relationship building skills, including the ability to leverage partnerships across the business.

Your main responsibilities

  • Explore avenues to enhance referral generation within the supply chain by educating both customers and suppliers about the advantages of expanding supplier networks. Develop a dedicated marketing funnel tailored to suppliers to stimulate referrals and advocacy.

Our client is looking for a visionary and results-driven Head of FMCG Brand Management to lead their brand strategy and execution from a fully remote capacity. This executive position requires a deep understanding of the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector, exceptional strategic thinking, and a proven ability to build and grow strong, recognizable brands. You will be responsible for defining brand positioning, developing innovative marketing campaigns, driving product innovation, and ensuring consistent brand experience across all consumer touchpoints. This role demands a proactive leader who can inspire a remote team and collaborate effectively with cross-functional departments.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement overarching brand strategies that drive market share, profitability, and brand equity within the FMCG sector.
  • Lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing plans, encompassing advertising, promotions, digital marketing, public relations, and in-store activities.
  • Drive product innovation pipeline from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with consumer insights and market trends.
  • Manage brand budgets, allocate resources effectively, and track performance against key financial and marketing objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis, consumer research, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and potential threats.
  • Oversee the development of compelling brand messaging and creative assets, ensuring consistency and impact across all channels.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team of brand managers and marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented remote work environment.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Supply Chain, R&D, and Agency partners to ensure seamless execution and optimal market penetration.
  • Monitor brand health metrics, sales performance, and consumer feedback, making data-driven recommendations for adjustments and improvements.
  • Champion the brand vision internally and externally, acting as a key advocate for the company's products and values.

Qualifications:
  • MBA or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in brand management within the FMCG industry, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and launching new products and revitalizing existing brands.
  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape in the FMCG sector.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing integrated marketing campaigns across ATL and BTL channels, with a strong emphasis on digital and e-commerce.
  • Excellent strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities, with experience leading remote teams.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and brand building.
  • Experience working with external agencies and managing agency relationships.
