Commercial Property Solicitor — Position Overview:
Office is in Luton (with occasional travel to Berkhamsted)
Manage a varied commercial property caseload, build client relationships, and help grow the team. Experience with land acquisition and development is helpful but not essential.
Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Property Solicitor:
- Handle sales, purchases, leases/lease extensions, assignments, surrenders, alterations, securitisation/lending, and deeds of easement.
- (Where applicable) support option agreements, conditional contracts, s.106, land acquisitions, development projects and plot sales.
- Run searches and Land Registry submissions; provide clear written/oral advice.
- Develop work through networking/marketing; manage risk, compliance and client expectations.
- Support/mentor junior colleagues and contribute to BD, CPD and local events.
Essential:
- Qualified Solicitor (7–10 years’ PQE in commercial property).
- Strong experience across sales, purchases, leases, securitisation and lease transactions.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Report directly to Department Director
- Professional pro-active approach, strong client care skills and a sensitive and sympathetic understanding of clients’ needs

- Attending clients, taking instructions and preparing cases

- Attending conferences and court
- Maintaining accurate time costing procedures
- Implementing any recommendations made by your supervisor following monthly file reviews ensuring that these are dealt with promptly
- Ensuring compliance with file management.
Key Skills Required:
- Demonstrate passion and experience in a broad range of publically funded Immigration Law
- A strong academic background with a Law degree
- Legal experience as an Immigration Paralegal/Advisor
- Clear understanding and application of Immigration Laws
- Business acumen and the ability to market the Company
- Excellent communications skills to work effectively with all types of people
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills and ability to use own initiative but know when to seek guidance
- Committed team player, self -motivated and professional
