Location: Slough (office-based with some flexibility)
Salary: £60,000 car allowance
We’re seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to take ownership of compliance activities across FRA, Electrical, and Gas services. This is a leadership role where you’ll be managing a small but skilled team, ensuring high standards are consistently achieved and that all reporting, data analysis, and troubleshooting are carried out effectively.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team including Gas Supervisors, Electrical Supervisors, Compliance Administrators, and a Compliance Planner.
Oversee compliance across FRA, Gas, and Electrical services.
Ensure all compliance documentation, certifications, and processes are up to date.
Produce and review reports, analysing data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain the highest compliance standards.
Strong experience in compliance management within FRA, Gas, and Electrical environments.
Proven track record of managing and developing teams.
Skilled in data analysis and reporting, with excellent attention to detail.
Proactive problem solver with strong communication and organisational skills.

Skills & Experience
Must have previous experience of BRC Accreditation or similar
FSC knowledge would be preferable
Food packaging experience would be ideal

This role will be instrumental in ensuring to our clients firm continues to be compliant with new regulations and guidance, including the completion of regular file checks and competence assessments. Supporting the growth of our clients Financial Management.
Your responsibilities
Here's a bit more on what you can expect to be doing day-to-day:
- Maintain, update, and monitor compliance standards including written policies and procedures
- Conduct high-risk advice checks and file-checks to ensure the firm is meeting its regulatory obligations and achieving excellent standards of compliance
- Monitor adherence to file review feedback, ensuring all outstanding items are completed in a timely manner
- Provide technical updates and support to team members as required
- Maintain knowledge of regulatory developments and rule changes to support the firm’s adherence to high levels of compliance

- Train and onboard new financial planners, including certifying competency

We think you’ll need the following experience and qualifications to succeed in the role:
- Experience in a similar position within the financial services industry
- Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, presentational and relationship building skills, with the ability to raise appropriate questions to the clients.
- Good organisational, administrative and time management skills.
- Must be self-disciplined and motivated with the ability to work alone and unsupervised or within a team environment when appropriate.
- At a minimum must hold the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning by the CII (or equivalent)
- Must hold a clean UK driving licence.

Role:

The successful candidate MUST have:

·Working knowledge of customer product specifications, packaging, technical information, HACCP, allergens and ideally BRC standards. Environmental knowledge helpful
