Fire Safety Gas Electrical Water Hygiene Lifts Asbestos You will be responsible for ensuring our buildings meet current safety standards, statutory records are maintained, and cyclical testing and servicing programmes are implemented effectively, along with:

Compliance Manager – Insurance My client is a boutique Insurance and Reinsurance firm operating throughout Europe but with headquarters (including the compliance department) in London. The Compliance team in London is expanding and this brand new role will influence the compliance culture across all business units. Reporting into the Group Head of Compliance and working alongside (and just above) a Senior Associate, the successful candidate will manage the compliance framework and embed it into local and regional compliance teams. The Role Lead and oversee compliance integration for new market entries, managing due diligence, implementation, and ongoing monitoring. Chair compliance and privacy working groups, defining agendas, tracking progress, and ensuring alignment with regulations and best practices. Develop and maintain group-wide compliance frameworks, policies, and methodologies to meet international, European, and local regulatory requirements. Support business units and local teams in applying compliance tools, conducting assessments, and ensuring readiness for new regulations. Drive technological improvements to enhance compliance processes, including evaluating tools, coordinating due diligence, and managing external providers. Conduct regulatory monitoring, provide training, and prepare reports to keep senior management and boards informed of compliance risks and developments. Manage relationships with external advisors, regulators, and third parties, ensuring confidentiality and effective coordination across functions. Act as deputy to the Group Head of Compliance, supporting governance boards, compliance plans, risk assessments, and ad-hoc regulatory projects. The Candidate You must have at least 8 years’ experience of Life, Home or Reinsurance Compliance. You are working towards, or already hold, a recognised professional Compliance qualification. You bring strong IT skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. You have a solid understanding of key compliance topics, current and emerging risks, and hands-on experience managing compliance programmes. You have a proven track record in implementing and supporting long-term strategic compliance initiatives. You offer strong project management experience, able to deliver on multiple priorities. You possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate clearly with varied audiences, from business units to senior leadership.
