The Sales Executive will be responsible for arranging and setting appointments for the Field Sales Team in our fit-out and specialist furniture sector.
The Sales Executive will be responsible for:
- Identifying potential clients and reaching them on the phone or email. The objective is to schedule an appointment for a sales representative for a follow-up visit. Each appointment made must be well qualified
- The Telesales Agent will make it their mission to familiarise themselves with essential details of our products and services.
- Calling prospective clients using phone numbers provided to you by either bought-in data or internal knowledge.
- Research prospects prior to making contact.
- Fielding basic questions about the products and services we offer.
- Handling objections over the phone and working through the sales process with prospects in order to reach positive outcome.
- You will be driven and familiar with working towards KPI’s as part of your role.
Essential requirements include:
- Proven experience as an appointment setter, sales representative, or similar
- The Telesales Agent will be able to demonstrate top-notch verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a varied audience from lower management to C-Suite prospects.
- Excellent phone etiquette.
- The successful Telesales Agent will possess active listening skills, empathy, communicativeness, and assertiveness.
- You will have good researching skills using information like the prospective companies' websites and platforms like Linked etc
- Persuasive and results-oriented.
The salary is up to £30,000 basic th a commission structure set up to reward each held qualified appointment you book in ,leading to up to an additional £ ,000 per annum.
The hours of work: Monday to Friday 9am-5.30 with 1 hour lunch or 9-5 with 30 min lunch.

You will be immersing yourself within the financial services industry engaging with lapsed clients, web enquires, client enquires and other methods to find the best solution for them to service their needs. NO COLD CALLING. You will be a non pushy individual with clients but knowing how close the deal/ find their solution to service them for the next year minimum.
My client has an amazing culture where the team has long standing management and members of staff whom have become very knowledgeable through continuous internal and external training to ensure they are keeping up to date with FCA regulations and legislations but also new products coming to the team.
Day to day of the Sales Executive:
- Registering new and lapsed client details onto the internal system ensuring you are gaining correct identification and information.
- Presenting correct details of the individuals to third party to gain the perfect solution for them.
- Being honest with clients if you cannot help them at that point due to certain requirements but building a good relationship with them for possible future business.
- Managing lapsed clients, web enquires, inbound calls from new clients, and those who have signed up to the website with my client and engaging with them to understand their needs.
- Completing roughly 5060 quotes a week and trying to convert these into closing the deal but not being too pushy.
- Delivering fantastic customer service to client inbound enquires and passing onto relevant teams on clients needs.
- Adhering to FCA regulations and producing documentation for clients to ensure all businesses are protected and reading certain scripts due to nature of business.
- Identifying vulnerable clients and giving them as much support as possible to support their needs.
- Meeting targets and KPI's which can differ per month dependent on holiday, sickness and warm leads accessibility.
Requirements of the Sales Executive:
- Previous experience of working within the financial services industry such as banking, pensions, insurance, investments, debt recovery etc.
