We are working on behalf of a leading contractor on the Southern Water framework who are seeking 2 x Project Managers / Assistant Project Managers to oversee and deliver a variety of workstreams related to Clean Rivers and Seas - Capital Delivery projects.
You'll be managing programmes across:
Planned & Reactive Works
Manhole sealing
Minor civils
Lining works
Your responsibilities will include:
Full project lifecycle delivery
Noticing, compliance & commercial management
Estimating & quoting
Progress reporting & client liaison
Handover and close-out of works
What we're looking for:
Background delivering works for Southern Water or similar
Experience in capital delivery (preferably clean water / wastewater)
Strong planning, coordination and stakeholder skills
Ability to work from the Battle / Hastings office (flexible 1-2 days remote once settled)
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term contract with potential to go permanent as part of a growing, well-established framework team.

The Project Manager will be working as part of the Fire Suppression UK & I Major Projects team on EHS, financial & planning aspects of specific construction projects.
You will be working with the Operations Manager and the role includes specific focus on change management and business development to optimise profit margins. The role will include responsibility for driving productivity and meeting contractual programme dates.
How you will do it
Initiate the project - develop budgets, programmes, teams and resources
Carry out progress and critical path management
Co-ordinate work packages
Liaise with different JCI business units to meet any job-specific requirements
Manage internal and external teams.
Manage JCI & construction industry standard EHS requirements
Cost management
Drive positivity & productivity
Meeting project deadlines
Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time
Implement and manage any necessary contract changes throughout the process
Report regularly to JCI management and the client
Liaise with JCI procurement department
Liaise with customers & end-users
Manage test, commissioning and fault finding activities
Close out activities including evaluating successes and challenges to enhance learning for your next project.

The role involves refurbishment and repair of existing infrastructure, including bridges, canopies, and station buildings. You'll be managing teams of 10-20 staff, delivering either multiple smaller projects totalling around 500k or a few larger, multi-million-pound schemes.

We are looking for an experienced Lead Project Manager to join the team on a 12-month contract to manage the design deliverables for a major construction of a new 275kV substation at Port Talbot in South Wales. This substation is part of a larger project to provide new electricity supplies.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead the design development process during pre-construction (including Development and Consenting processes).
- Produce all required project design documentation, demonstrating the implementation of lessons learned and best practice.

- Support the consenting, type registration, cost estimation, programme risk mitigation and innovation activities.

- Maintain full authorisation to carry out duties.
- Undertake additional duties to support project as delegated by the Senior Project Manager.
Candidate requirements:
- Good Project Management skills including management of risk for delivery of projects to scope, time, cost, quality, safety and security of supply
- Working knowledge and application of CDM and safety in design
- Demonstrable experience of leading cross discipline teams
- Demonstrable experience of problem solving and an appetite for continuous improvement
- Experience working within the utilities sector
- 5+ years of experience in project management
