Company: Finning (UK) Ltd Number of Openings: 1 Worker Type: Permanent Position Overview: We’re looking for a proactive Warehouse Admin and Compliance Controller to oversee all Warehouse administration, ensure operational compliance, and support purchasing and reporting functions. This is a pivotal role that ensures the smooth running of our warehouse operations through robust administrative practices and continuous improvement. Job Description:

Administration & Reporting

  • Produce weekly/monthly statistical reports for contract management and central functions.

  • Liaise with internal teams to gather accurate data for billing and invoicing.

  • Ensure timesheets are completed and team members are paid accurately.

Process & Compliance Management

  • Coordinate and continuously improve site administration procedures.

  • Maintain operational efficiency and ensure quality standards are met.

  • Drive performance improvements through audits and reporting.

  • Investigate service failures and implement corrective actions.

  • Manage facility and equipment maintenance schedules, contractor inductions, and service records.

  • Source quotes and collaborate with senior management to ensure cost-effective solutions.

  • Record training needs and work with L&D to develop training plans for warehouse staff.

  • Lead monthly LAT meetings and collaborate with SHEQ to meet branch rating targets.

  • Maintain and update the Finning Safety Matrix.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a warehouse or supply chain environment.

  • Strong IT proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to manage costs and drive efficiencies.

  • Ability to share best practices across teams and branches.

  • Understanding of EH&S principles and compliance standards.

  • Accountable for smooth coordination of all admin processes and warehouse compliance.

  • Experience managing service requirements and contractor relationships.
