About The Team:

Part of our Financial Services division, the Asset Management Audit team delivers tailored audit services to clients with complex and diverse asset portfolios. Our clients include large and listed asset managers (including FTSE 250 entities), wealth managers, investment trusts, real estate investment managers and REITs, as well as private equity and venture capital-backed property groups. We also work with unregulated asset managers with assets under management under £1bn.

Operating across multiple jurisdictions, our clients present a broad range of challenges, from asset valuation and revenue recognition to meeting regulatory compliance. You'll be involved at every stage of the audit process, gaining hands-on experience with high-profile clients while being supported in your professional development. What You'll Do:

• Lead Complex Audits – Take ownership of large and listed audits in the asset management sector, bringing FTSE 250 experience to the team.
• Provide Technical Oversight – Advise on complex areas including private equity, private credit, infrastructure valuations, IFRS 9/13, and fair value assessments.
• Shape Audit Strategy – Design risk-focused audit approaches tailored to complex group structures and diverse investment vehicles.
• Deliver Reporting & Insights – Manage high-value audits end-to-end, including team resourcing, timelines, group consolidations, and Audit Committee reporting.
• Coach & Collaborate – Support team development and build trusted relationships with CFOs, fund managers, and key stakeholders.

What You'll Bring:

• Professional Qualification – Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CA or equivalent).
• Sector Expertise - Hands-on experience in the asset management sector, ideally with FTSE 250 clients.
• Leadership Experience - Proven leadership in managing complex audits involving asset portfolios and valuation processes. Demonstrated experience at Senior Manager or experienced Audit Manager level.
• Technical Knowledge - Strong technical expertise in IFRS, UK GAAP, CASS rules, and FCA regulations.

A leading public sector organisation is seeking a talented and proactive Principal Surveyor to join its Strategic Asset Management team. About You:

• Excellent negotiation, valuation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• RICS membership or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.

About the role:

We are seeking a bright and motivated Investments Data Scientist to join our dynamic Investment Team. • Automate Reporting: Support the building and automation of investment reports and financial reports, helping to provide timely and accurate insights to portfolio managers and stakeholders.

• Conduct Data Analysis: Perform rigorous analysis of financial time series to help model market dynamics, understand volatility patterns, and identify underlying trends.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree (MSc or PhD) in a quantitative discipline such as Financial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Up to 5 years of relevant experience (including internships or academic projects) in a quantitative or data-focused role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and its data science ecosystem (pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, statsmodels).
• Solid understanding of financial time series modelling, including concepts related to forecasting, volatility, and non-stationarity.

• Demonstrable experience applying machine learning techniques (e.g., Gradient Boosting, Random Forests, Clustering) to data, preferably financial.
• Experience with (or academic exposure to) building investment signals or automating data analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing large datasets.

Preferred

• Familiarity with financial data providers such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv Eikon, or FactSet.
• Exposure to cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) or big data technologies (e.g., Spark).
• An interest in deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Progress towards the CFA or FRM designation is a plus.
