We are looking for a reliable and approachable Customer Service Assistant to join our team at a busy Taxi Examination Centre in the West of Edinburgh. This front-facing role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with the public, and is confident handling a variety of administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming customers and managing the front desk area
- Handing out paperwork for taxi inspections and MOT tests
- Applying licences and permits to vehicles
- Checking customer ID and scanning required documentation
- Carrying out basic admin duties, including scanning and filing
- Answering general enquiries regarding MOTs, taxi tests, and licensing (Note: you will not be permitted to assist with test questions)
