Role: Project Manager

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 plus car and yearly bonus

Location: Lingfield, Surrey

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team in the London South Portakabin Hire Division based at Lingfield, Surrey. This role is to ensure that all allocated projects are completed in a manner that prioritises a zero harm culture, meeting or exceeding our customers' expectations on programme and budget.

You will lead the business unit Project Management function, including supervision of Project Controller and Project Administrator resource, and to directly manage major projects ensuring all necessary measures are taken such that works are carried out in a safe manner, whilst providing effective programme, contract management and cost controls systems.

You will work in harmony with Site Services Manager and Service Managers to ensure labour resource required for Projects are supported. Creating a baseline programme of project scope ensuring all elements are adequately programmed for quality, reputation and Health & Safety. Report on any changes to baseline throughout project lifecycle.

Your remit is to manage, co-ordinate and communicate with all internal resources and third parties required and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget encompassing all change control throughout project lifecycle.

As a Project Manager, you will:

*Have proven Project Management experience in the construction industry (modular or building design background would be beneficial).

*Be managing multiple projects at one time to meet agreed programmes, specifications and cost plans.

*Have experience managing multi-disciplinary teams on complex/high-value building projects.

*Have strong experience establishing early good working relationships with the client and client's team members, maintaining and improving these throughout the programme of the project and beyond.

*Provide planning support and guidance for live and potential projects, with respect to appropriate legislation and building regulations.

*Pay cognisance of all contractual issues of orders from clients, and take the necessary steps to minimize and protect the Company from all associated financial and legal risks involved, including supporting the projects team with the Health and Safety requirements for the contract (CDM).

*Provide updates to be used in Project Governance report highlighting risks, issues and progress against financial plan

*Possess a full UK Driving licence.

*Work productively in a fast paced, high-pressured environment

*Preferably have a Project Management qualification. This is more desirable as experience is more key for this role.

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for the management of science platform discovery programs working with TPL’s across the function ensuring adherence to the operating model. You will be working with multi-functional project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. Your responsibilities

- Manage the development of key projects and programmes to deliver proof of principle results for the categories  

- Coordinate activities and objectives with cross functional teams to advance assigned initiatives to achieve desired compliance, quality, supply continuity, cost targets and business results 

- Act as an exemplar of current best approach on project management / planning, including creation and management of key project management documentation through appropriate use of PPM tools and systems (Project Briefs, Project Plans, Gantt Charts, Success Criteria, Risk Assessments, Budget, Resourcing, etc), in line with the operating model and PPM Charter. 

- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical project paths; manage risk analysis and contingency planning on all assigned projects. 

- Manage cross functional project activity across several functions including internal/ external resources and lead cross-functional teams serving as the gate holder of all project timelines; track project plans and milestones. 

- Ensure all parties involved in delivering project are held accountable for completion of actions on time and to required standards and resolve any arising issues (with support as required)

The experience we're looking for

- Exceptional Project Management skills and Microsoft Project skills 

- BS/BA/MS degree, ideally in a related science or engineering, Master’s degree in business a plus. 

- Relevant experience with product development within a FMCG environment, with a proven track record of delivery. 

- Experience within Health or Medical Device industry is a plus. 

- Experience of working with global project team is a plus  

- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or other professional project management qualification (or on-track) is a plus. 

- Planning and organisational skills with good understanding of priority setting. 

- Effective communication skills and the ability to provide feedback to team members with the goal of attaining common understanding, trust, and cooperation. Ability to interact with all levels of the organization  

- Strong interpersonal skills to nurture teamwork and foster an environment of achievement and motivation

We’re looking for a forward-thinking OT Framework Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of our Operational Technology (OT) framework. This is a pivotal role in our infrastructure enhancement programme, supporting our mission to build climate-resilient, ecologically sound water systems.

As the OT Framework Project Manager, you’ll oversee the full lifecycle of a major OT initiative—from planning through to implementation—ensuring it aligns with our strategic goals and integrates seamlessly across our infrastructure. Role involves the following responsibilities

• A strong record of continuing professional development, possibly, but not necessarily, including a relevant degree or management qualification; formal qualifications in Project Management and certification in PRINCE2 (and/or MSP, M_o_P) or equivalent would be an advantage.

Due to the nature of the projects you’ll be working on, you must be eligible for, or hold, SC Clearance and be a Sole British National. 

Are you a driven leader with a track record of steering complex Defence Engineering projects to success? We're on the lookout for a results-oriented Engagement Manager who thrives in high-stakes environments—someone who can lead from the front, manage end-to-end project delivery, and build lasting client relationships in the Defence sector.  

Working from within our Global Programme Office (GPO), you will primarily work on delivering projects that will lead to the convergence of physical and digital worlds through technology, engineering and manufacturing expertise to boost our clients’ competitiveness.

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Project and Financial Management: Skilled in project planning, forecasting, revenue management, profitability, and tracking/reporting to ensure financial health and delivery success.
• Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Experienced in client liaison, satisfaction, and bid management, ensuring alignment with expectations and long-term relationships.
• Operational Excellence: Strong background in quality control, continuous process improvement, and problem resolution to drive productivity and performance.
• Resource and Risk Management: Proficient in resource allocation, risk management, and maintaining high standards across all phases of project execution.

Your Profile

Essential

• Experience in Defence Engineering Development Projects  from bid phase through to delivery, including requirements definition, design, manufacture, commissioning, and closure, with experience across the MOD Lifecycle Model.
• 2–5 years of project and programme management experience , including work package ownership, small team leadership, and integration/assurance processes across Air, Land, or Maritime domains.
• Proficient in project financials , including revenue recognition, margin improvement, risk management, and month-end reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver small engineering projects , with strong attention to detail and a track record of successful outcomes in Defence, particularly Maritime.

In this strategic role, you’ll lead from the front—steering delivery excellence, building strong client relationships, and driving growth across mission-critical programmes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead client engagement, bid management, and strategic project planning.
• Drive financial performance, forecasting, and profitability improvement.
• Oversee resource allocation, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Champion delivery-led growth across key Defence Engineering accounts.

Your Profile

• 10+ years’ experience leading complex Defence projects, from bid to delivery, with a focus on Maritime integration.
• Proven leadership of large, multi-functional teams, ideally in software development environments.
• Strong commercial acumen across project finances, revenue recognition, and contract management.
• Eligible for SC Clearance, with a strategic mindset and consulting experience.
