Entity: Customers & Products Job Family Group: Strategic Planning & Business Development Group Job Description: The UK JV Team at Air bp is responsible for managing bp’s operational and commercial interests across 8 on-airfield joint ventures (JVs) and 10 UK airfields where bp holds a lease or concession. The team also oversees contracts that secure access to aviation fuel supply at other UK airports. This role supports the UK JV Team Leader in delivering the overall UK JV strategy, with a strong focus on the financial and operational management of bp’s on-airfield capabilities. It includes day-to-day oversight of a key JV and ongoing engagement with cross-functional stakeholders, including operations, technical, commercial, legal, finance, and procurement teams. Key Responsibilities: Contract & Operational Site Management: Support the Contract Accountable Manager (CAM) in delivering fuel services at bp’s 10 UK solus sites via the North Air (NA) Solus contract (valued at ~£11 million per annum). Serve as the primary point of contact for North Air, managing the day-to-day contract delivery within delegated authority. Administer the NA contract, ensuring sound governance and robust financial tracking. Oversee NA infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with cost, schedule, quality, and HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) standards. Participate in incident reviews, promote lessons learned, and liaise with the Air bp HSSE team where necessary. Provide operational support during crisis management events, engaging with NA, airport authorities, and internal stakeholders. Conduct safety walk rounds during site visits, raising observations with the NA Site Manager and appointed directors. Identify and implement opportunities to enhance safety, increase efficiency, and drive cost improvements. Financial & Administrative Oversight for Solus Sites: Ensure timely payment of all airport-related fees (leases, throughput, business rates, insurance, etc.). Support procurement processes, including supplier onboarding, due diligence checks (CDD), Ariba setup, PO creation, and WBS code generation for capital projects. Maintain the fixed asset register and manage throughput agreements with third-party suppliers. Contribute to internal planning cycles, supporting the development of capex and opex forecasts for UK solus sites and JVs. Joint Venture Management – Manchester Receipt Facility (MRF): Represent bp as a shareholder participant in the unincorporated MRF JV, ensuring governance and leadership through participation in board and operational meetings. Ensure the JV meets all legal and compliance requirements and adheres to industry standards. Maintain effective commercial arrangements and oversee service delivery. Monitor and analyse performance KPIs, finding opportunities for continuous improvement. Support safe delivery of infrastructure projects within cost, quality, and safety standards. Manage bp’s compliance with internal JV governance requirements, including risk assessments and exposure management plans. Maintain close communication with bp’s shareholder representative, ensuring visibility of all pertinent issues. Requirements to Succeed: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a business, finance, or engineering field. Experience in a commercial or financial role. Proven experience managing third-party relationships (e.g., suppliers, customers, JV partners). Demonstrated experience in contractor and contract management. About the role

Your responsibilities

- Manage the development of key projects and programmes to deliver proof of principle results for the categories  

- Coordinate activities and objectives with cross functional teams to advance assigned initiatives to achieve desired compliance, quality, supply continuity, cost targets and business results 

- Act as an exemplar of current best approach on project management / planning, including creation and management of key project management documentation through appropriate use of PPM tools and systems (Project Briefs, Project Plans, Gantt Charts, Success Criteria, Risk Assessments, Budget, Resourcing, etc), in line with the operating model and PPM Charter. 

- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical project paths; manage risk analysis and contingency planning on all assigned projects.

We’re looking for a forward-thinking OT Framework Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of our Operational Technology (OT) framework. This is a pivotal role in our infrastructure enhancement programme, supporting our mission to build climate-resilient, ecologically sound water systems.

About the job you’re considering

Working as part of the Programme Leadership team, within the Domains delivery unit, successful candidates will be leading the delivery of technology enabled transformation projects of varying size and degrees of complexity in any sector.   These projects will comprise of different elements such as the delivery/implementation of package-based products (e.g. SAP, Salesforce and others), Cloud migrations/ transformations, custom developed solutions, complex integrations, data products/ science, AI/Gen AI/ Agentic AI/ Machine Learning and Business Organisational Change.  Our delivery approaches follow Agile, DevSecOps and waterfall/hybrid methodologies. 


The Domains delivery unit works across both public and private sector clients (except Financial Services – which is covered by a separate part of the Capgemini Group). Your skills and experience

We’re looking for experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering impactful transformation projects and who thrive in collaborative, client-focused environments.   • Experience of large-scale technology transformation delivery projects, in at least two of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), large custom builds, delivery of AI solutions, Cloud migrations/ transformations and Business Change;
  • Depth of experience in at least one industry, across either public or private sectors is desirable 
  • Strong previous experience evident of leading delivery within a client facing customer-supplier commercial environment as a supplier; Scale of delivery 1,500 to 10,000 man-days and £2m to £20m direct delivery budget responsibility;Responsible for directly managing the delivery team and delivering contract outcomes; Strong people management and leadership experience, with a proven ability to motivate, lead and develop multi-disciplined teams (including global delivery teams);
  • Proven ability to shape propositions and projects that deliver effective business transformation and outcomes for clients whilst managing internal commercial and delivery risk; Creative approaches to sales and delivery challenges
  • A strong record of continuing professional development, possibly, but not necessarily, including a relevant degree or management qualification; formal qualifications in Project Management and certification in PRINCE2 (and/or MSP, M_o_P) or equivalent would be an advantage.
